I know this forum has been frustrating everyone for quite some time so I have good news - we are finally moving to a shiny new forum! Hurrah no more spam!

Will have more details on where to sign up for the new forum very soon but for now I just wanted to give you a heads up that this one will be closing down in a short while.

I'm sure you will get lots of questions, so I will start.

What will happen to the tons of info stored here? Lots of band news from days past, links to videos, and personal happenings from forum members; can this be transferred and saved in some way or will it all be lost?

It is a digital history of everything that has been going on with the band for years - spam or no spam - it would be a tragic loss

I read that it's possible to carry out forum migrations preserving all the content. Alternatively, there are Read-Only solutions, where the past posts are stored but are read-only; and Partial solutions, where only the relevant and recent posts are preserved (so, if this is the case, I think we should say goodbye to current game threads ) . The migration it's not always easy though; consider the compatibility of platforms, formats, styles etc.

So, is the forum migrating? or are we people just moving to a new blank forum?
And, are we going to continue with the same provider Invision Power?

For legal reasons we will not be able to migrate anything over to the new forum so yes - we will be starting fresh & blank. I know there are a lot of amazing memories here so I don't plan to delete anything - just lock the forum so it will still be available for read-only purposes when you feel like taking a trip down memory lane ha.

I know this sucks that you will lose a lot of your great games etc but I really appreciate your patience and I would LOVE for you to all come join me in building this new forum
