i love them. they're 10 times better live too. i saw them with the yyy's this recent summer. it was a gooooood show.

i watched an acoustic version of Mr. Brightside and it kinda sucked which really sucked cuz i love the killers

I LOVE the killers, lol...and the CD has good memories for me--I got it on my first trip to New Orleans (I instantly fell in love with the city), then I came home and started The Killers craze in Owensboro Kentucky--or in my school at least...

Just figured I'd share my experience

I really like them, just saw them live a few weeks ago in Cologne, they were great. The set was quite short, though.

I actually liked Ambulance LTD, who were opening for them, even better.

i love the killers, and i was supposed to see them friday but the people going with me backed out the week before, and i couldn't drive 3 hours by myself.

i dont really like em... cant get this fuckin 'somebody told me that you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend' out of my head. I listened through the cd but no song i really liked.

I really wanted to see them live when they came to my area, but they sold out really quickly, so i never got to see them

i love them! its an irrational love that i cant explain. i think it has something to do with this summer driving around doing nothing in particular with my friends. i dont listen to the radio or watch much tv so i dont have the same issues i used to with music.

I'm not sure. I bought "Hot Fuss" in October and it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. I don't know whether I like them or not.

i'm not sure if anyone remembers kelly (kellywhywhatfor) from .com, but her dads friend is the killers' manager. i think she got to have dinner with them or something.

I love the song Smile like you mean it, but i'm not a real fan of them.

The decision is still out over whether I like them or not. I haven't had a chance yet to listen to the entire album and they don't exactly have that certain "kick" that plays a significant role in persuading me to buy an album on a whim. Although, isn't it true that the lead singer in a Mormon from Vegas? If so, that is a great irony that adds about 50 extra points of intrigue.

haha yes, Brandon Flowers (lead singer) is a mormon and he is from vegas yay for the ironic intrigue!

The Killers are fun to listen to when you're out, they're fantastic live (and attract drunk middle age Morrissey fans to their shows that dance and sing in an amusing manner.)

Mr. Brightside is definetly one of my favourite songs at the momment. But I won't buy the album because I know that I'd overplay it and ruin all the songs for myself when I'm out and drunk and want to dance. My friend reccently did that to Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll.

Mr. Brightside came on the radio and my little brother remarked on how Brandon Flower's vocals are the same in all their songs and how "At least the singer in the Vines changes the way he sings in each song; sometimes he's yelling and sometimes quiet. This guy always has a robot tone."

My brother's a such a critic. But at least I'm exposing him to good music now. He is probably one of the few 12 yr olds in the world to know who the Smiths are.

i saw the killer in paris, the 4 november , and it was a veryyy good show, but i prefer them in live that in cd, hot fuss is a good album but...i don't know...my favourit song is"andy you're a satr', it made me very , but the killer is a very ggood band, and they are very (puissants??) in live!

just to make sure i'm getting it, are you accusing most of the people in this thread of not knowing any of the killer's music except what's played on the radio, or am i missing the point, because my brain's a little fried from finals. but if that is what you mean, yeah, i would say that probably is a fair accusation.
