Lifehouse - rather simple but beautiful rock(pop)... brought me into 'real' music
Adam Green - great weirdo. Check out the songs where he sings about fucking a girl with no legs or 'times are bad' ( i so feel like him here *sniff*)
Phoenix - french electro-pop-rock. The new album 'Alphabetical`has been more pop though, very simple. I really like 'Schools rules', 'Everything is Everything'. Its nothing id get all hyper about but its good pop.
Jeff Buckley - one of the most brilliant songwriters ever, was blissed with a brilliant voice
Elliott Smith - favourtie songwriter, if you dont know him check out www.sweetadeline.net
