I don't know if you guys can remember many
but you know how when adults would explain things to you and you got a picture in your head of what they were talking about....and thinking back on it you found it pretty amusing.
like I come from a pretty religious family (Catholic) AND a very uh...scientific family (my dad's a chemist) and before I learned how to read I already understood that everything including air was made out of little building blocks called atoms but you couldn't see them cause they were so small.....and then when I was a little older I got a religious book that told about how Jesus was always with you because he was everywhere even though you couldn't see him.....so I imagined jesus like atoms, and thought of the air like billions of microscopic jesus's floating around.
haha yeah
so can anyone else think of something like that from their childhood?

this reminded me of something I read in wither blender or spin-
When Kurt Cobain was little(2 to be exact)he had an imaginary friend named Boddah. And his parents were so worried about this, that when Kurts uncle got drafted to Vietnam, they told him that Boddah had to. And then when he killed himself he wrote letters to Courtney and Frances, the fans and then another for Boddah.

I had imaginary friends coming out the wa-zoo. And I still do. Which is strange, because I had and still have plenty of friends at school.
I used to talk to inanimate objects all the time. Oh, wait...I still do. Seriously.
When I was about seven I had a friend. It was a stick. His name was Stick. I used to take him outside with me everywhere I went, and I'd talk to him and we'd go on adventures. Then one day I accidently left him outside, and it snowed that night, and after the snow melted I went outside and I coudln't find him anywhere. So then I cried. It was the most sad thing I"ve ever been through, losing a friend. So then I found another stick and tried to make it my friend, but it wasn't the same, so I cried some more. My parents were worried about me.
And nowadays I still talk to inanimate objects. And yes, they do talk back. Like Asparagus, my purple rubber band. Well, actually, he's green now, but it's a long story.

God, the caffeinated deity
when my aunt was little my grandma was getting her ready for church and she had holes in her stockings and slip and so my grandpa called her his little holey child, and during church whenever the priest talked about "The Holy Child" my aunt felt all proud cause she thought he was referring to her.

my great aunt used to buy me these really tiny baby dolls that all looked the same and everytime I got one my older cousin jamie would come over and we'd rip the babydoll's head off and name it "Bob, The Decapitated Head" and like make up stories about Bob trying to find a body and such then when we'd get bored with that we'd fix Bob onto the end of the kitchen sink faucet and turn on the water and watch Bob, The Decapitated head blow up....and like he'd swell up and then his eyes would pop out and then he'd shoot off the faucet. It was amusing. I was about 7.
