I consider it pop, but I guess I'm willing to settle with poppunk too. But I will not go any further than that.

When I think of Punk Rock, I like to think of Rancid. That is, before they came with Indestructible which was painfully close to mainstream/sell-out.

In my opinion Vines should not be considered as punk/rock, this definition is mainly used for "sk8r bois and grlz" (wich they often call themselves this way:) who are nothing but pozers and that's why I hate "sk8" music, makes me sick..........

Nah, in my opinion the Vines are a combination between indie and garage.

But I agree with you, most people who are considered "punk rock" mostly aren't. There is almost NO good punk rock these days, only the wannabees. It upsets me, 'cause before punk got so shamelessly underrated, I've always been a massive punk rock fan. I miss the good old days when there weren't the Avrils and Good Charlottes to fuck with the term, "punk rock".

(mind you, GC and Avril ARE punks, just not in that way. )

Guh, Busted makes me sick to my stomach. At least, the music does. They've got the luck that they have at least one shaggable bandmember, which is probably the only thing that keeps them standing. Sorry for the shallowness of that post, but it's, well, the only thing I can think of when it comes to those boys.
