Hey, I hope you don't mind but I deleted the three other copies of this topic.

And I'm downloading it now and I'll be sure to tell you what I think once I've listened to it. biggrin.gif
Btw, where's tracks 4 and 10? huh.gif

Hey I'm back. laugh.gif

I listened to it! You did a good job, really. A lot of the songs remind me of the BJM and BRMC, they have that kind of mellowing, jaded, rock vibe happening. It's kind of hard to explain. My favourite songs, on first listen, were Pure Fire, Not Good Enough, and She Got All My Love and Early Age. I think the only criticism I really have is you could do with a bit more variety amongst the songs, but all in all, great work, keep it up. biggrin.gif

One question though, what is your band's name? Is it Grand Rabbits, like the thread title suggests? Because for some reason in my media player it says the band is called The Weather Underground and I looked up that band name and it seems to be a whole different artist? mellow.gif So yeah if you could let me know that would be good so I can tag them properly. smile.gif

Oh and about the line "your hair is gone but your mind's okay" in Overjoyed (great song, really enjoyed it), was that a nod at The Strokes' Red Light by any chance? tongue.gif

I liked it too. Very cool, indie rock. The second half is more slow and psychedelic.

Is remarkable the use of other elements like sound effects, tambourine and acoustic guitar... and sequenced drums in one track I think.

Sometimes the music it's a bit out of sync, but it gives a cool messiness to the song.

Just listened to it and maaan, I liked it.The songs have this very cool, ethereal vibe to them.Of course, since I don't speak English as a first language, I missed out the lyrics a little bit.The outstanding ones for me were Overjoyed, Early Age and Something's Wrong smile.gif
Well done! cool.gif

Ok smile.gif . As you probably know, Last.fm keeps track of every song you listen in your computer or Ipod, and makes charts from that info. You can automatically show in forums or webpages the charts of the songs you've listening. In order to do so, you have to post a code, that Last.fm gives you HERE, inside the forum or webpage.

You need to:
  1. Create a Last.fm account
  2. Download the Last.fm Scrobbler (a little software they give you, necessary to keep track of your music)
  3. Go to the link I put above, and customize your chart (in the tabs you can find many styles)
  4. Copy the code of your chart (where it says: "Forum BBCode")
  5. Paste the code on your signature at any forum
This will automatically show the songs you recently listened. And it's FREE.

Note: you have to remove any whitespace from the code before, and then it will work.
