AAAHHHHHH Yes Hamish He is quite friendly. I didn't have to stalk him at all for this photo op. He came to me!!, from an upstair balcony where the bands watched the show from.
He just wanted to tell me that is was good to see that there were fans there that night who were over 12. ( nothing wrong with being 12, not at all) But Hamish is one of the oldest of The Vines , if not the oldest, I think.
And after he came down to talk to me my friend and I got to hug the stage for the rest of the night and everyone else up by the stage had to stay the 2 feet distance that the security guys keep. You know the guys who keep telling you to get away from the stage. Well they kept telling everyone else but us that night. Yes Hamish is the best!

thanks so much for sharing that story! it's cool he went out of his way to speak with you and your friend, and look out for you guys at their show. sounds like hamish because he's one of the most genuinely friendly musicians i've ever met. granted, he oozes charm anyway, but there's a sincerity to how he interacts with fans that goes above and beyond what we expect of typical 'rock stars.'

aww thats wonderful. all the people in this forum who've met Hamish have said he's a nice approachable sweet guy it's so nice to hear. makes me smile. thanks guys.
and wonkytooth thats a loverly picture. its one of my favs coz its really normal, natural and craig looks so pretty. i really want to go to a Bigphallica concert seems like fun but i guess it would be 18+

Apparently there's a small mention of the Vines in this month's Q magazine that features a tiny pic from the Winning Days video shoot where the boys are fondling eachother. Who's going to be the hero and post this pic?

so it's a cut out from the WD promo shots out in the woods.

I know, I was just saying I find it funny how everyone acts like the thread is on fire like "OMG HAIRY CRAIG WHAT THE HELL?!!?! BRAIN...HURTS..." when that picture is posted. I'm not a big fan of body hair but everyone has it. Unless of course they shave it off, but that's a whole 'nother topic.
