They're under W&G management, the same as The Vines, and they opened for them on a couple of their shows, I think on all of the Corner gigs, but I could be wrong. They don't have an album out yet, but it'll be out in September or so.

Yeah that's all it is right. I think maybe Craig's gettin too attached to his hair and won't even go near a pair of scissors just to trim it...I get like that sometimes. Also maybe because it's really straight it just gives off the illusion that it's thin. Or maybe I'm in denial, I don't know.

It looks thin becuase it's also very straight. Naturally straight hair tends to be on the finer side.

Hold...wait a second. They're letting Brad sing in this show? I thought Ryan was the only one doing the background vocals after Pat left, though I'd personally trust the job to any Vine other than Patrick! I don't know...I always felt that Pat secretly wanted to take over Craig's position as lead singer, judging from how he's always trying to sing louder and cover up Craig's voice. Unsuccessfully though. Craig's voice is just way too amazing to be taken over by mere loud blunts. And I like the way Ryan sings background for Craig...ahh, they work seamlessly for each other. *sigh* So how's Brad doing in background vocals, anyone have a vid or link?

I personally prefer Ryan's voice, but not entirely because I'm a fangirl, I personally find Brad's voice way too aggressive and kind of annoying. At least that's what I think of what I heard so far. Plus, it doesn't go with Ryan's voice at all. Ryan's voice is really soft and kind of soothing, whereas Brad's is rough and kind of irritating (I'm getting flamed for this so much). Ryan's too quiet and too afraid of messing up to do the backing on his own, though. What I find really pleasant about Ryan's backing is that his voice is softer and kind of darker in colour, if you know what I mean, so it really just adds up to the strength of Craig's voice, and is in fact, backing. Brad hasn't proven to have the same ability yet.
But Brad might just have to settle in and he might as well turn out to be a great backvocalist, I dunno.
And Brad, if you're by any chance reading this, please don't hate me. Or I'll climb a tree and never ever come back down.

I personally think Brad's voice goes much better with the band's general style, to be quite honest. Like Ursa, I'm not saying this because I'm a fangirl, I'm saying it because it's true in my mind. Ry-Ry's voice is very quiet-ish and therefore more suitable for ballads, I'd say. Whereas judging by Brad's background vocals on D'arcy's stuff (the calmer songs) and the few times I've heard him do back-up for The Vines (the more upbeat tunes), I think Brad's voice is actually a very good combo of rough and gentle and would not cause him any trouble to sing back-up for whatever kind of song. Thus he is in my opinion the more capable background singer of the band, even if his voice isn't mesmerizingly beautiful (the cheesecake that I am, I will add that his looks make up for this, bigtime).

Awww Brad's not that bad. He just sounds sorta like a monkey when he does that "aaaaah" thing in Outtathaway, which isn't a bad thing I guess. It's kinda cute actually, just like him. The very first time I heard Ryan's voice was on that lady show interview, when he spoke and said "I'm Ryan..." I was like "whoooah his voice is so deep!"
