i hope the vines are well enough to take a tour overseas to promote the next album.
i hope they dont over produce this album like melodia, i think i coulda liked the songs a bit more if it was a bit rawer and a song like get out had more potenial i think.

Hopefully that album will have progression, deep songs, well thought out than rather having 2-minute pop songs.

yeah i really hope they develope the songs and that they are more thought out. if it picks up were winnning days did, id be very happy. arctic monkeys humbug is a perfect example of a band developing their sound. i dont like the direction they were heading with melodia.

yeah from the land would be great.
but its pretty old and i think if the vines were going to do a studio version they would have done it previously.
id really like to know if the band have found a producer yet?

Appearing in a February 2010 edition of Rolling Stone for a 2003 gig?
Who wouldn't!
I always seem to go off topic...

But really, I'm ecstatic for the promise the new albums holds. I'm not fussed on "ooh, it should sound like this..." because I have trust in their ability. As long as Craig and the band writes it using their own ideas and minds I'm certain that I'll like it regardless of the genres it may hold next to it's title. Speaking of title... haha.

Why? Just because of the name or any other reason? If it's for the name it's just a song title and the first 3 were awesome, I think.
In fact I think it was dumb of me to start talking about it because I don't know if there is any sense in talking about song titles, because you can't know anyway what the song will sound like.
tymaster1969
Jan 24 2010, 09:10 PM
no its just a bad idea. it would show that craig is clearly running out of ideas. i dont want another autumn shade. i want somthing new. the first two were amazing and are by far my favorite vines songs. but a fourth one would be pushing it.
BassHead
Jan 24 2010, 10:24 PM
i dont think so, if craig wrotte another good autumn shade it wouldent be a bad idea it would be a good song, a song title shouldnt have nuffin to do with the song being good or not, like i heard their may be a song called get away on the album who cares really it could be a great song.

Jan 25 2010, 05:09 AM
no not really, if the song is good how can it be a shitty set ov songs?, it would only make people love the autumn shades more
BassHead
Jan 25 2010, 05:12 AM
and for the get away commnet ive said it once so i aint keeping on getting back to that, well i just said it cause i dont think song names and sequels count for shit, hey if a song is good a title should have nothing to do with it

So do I think.
"Get Away" sounds to me like it would be a dreamy song.
Well, what do you think, will there be more slow or fast songs on the new album or what whould you prefer?
I love those slow songs, like Mary Jane or Sun Child f.e., where you can just drift off into another world and dream..
MardyBum.
Jan 25 2010, 11:15 PM
well i love the rock songs, and the slow songs, but on melodia it seemed to me their much better at ballads then they are rock songs i think their rock songs need to take another direction something new, but i could listen to the bands slow songs all day.

about the album, the title of the song is meaningless, the song itself is the one that stands out. And i agree with MardyBum, the slow ones in Melodia are great, im totally in love with She Is Gone

i dunno... i think the last 2 albums have realy good tracks but a lot of the songs are too short.. im sure you guys will hit me up with spaceship being a long song and true as the night, but in the jungle and 1969 were too really good songs that were really long... i kind of like listening to a song and having it on for a while rather than repeat... i dunnoooo
