That can be true in some cases, but too many bands write songs about girls, love, etc. It's repetitive and we've heard the same stories already. Some of the best songs are the one's you don't know the meaning too and leave you stuck thinking "WHAT!" Not necessarily anything too vague, but stuff that makes you interested in the lyrical quality of the song as well

Great songs often about love, but lyrically very deep and open to different interpretation. Put it this way, if I was to meet Craig today and return the favor for all the bands he's put me on to over the years- I'd give him every Sam Roberts album. He'd bloody love it.

It's so nice that you mentioned Sam Roberts! I only got to know Sam Roberts Band recently and loved it.And you're right, the lyrics are about love but in a very open way, not necessarily the boy/girl thing.

I would expect the album to be released first quarter of next year for sure, but a first single could be coming at you much sooner than that , so stay tuned
