Down at the Club would be awesome. Someone else said Give Up, Give out, Give In... that's a great shout. Either one of those should defo go up. Shame there was never a studio version of hey ya or so fresh, so clean.

what makes the vines so great.. is that they are exciting...
of course they aren't just a one trick pony.. so maybe adding
2 clean songs in there would help even it out.

but....... the in your face music keeps me excited
and makes me want to destroy things.. and
others should feel the same.

Who cares what songs are up, really.

its matters to choose good songs to bring in new fans...
if they were to stumble across the page.

If the first two songs I click aren't entertaining.. I usually
don't bother to listen to the rest..

I couldn't disagree more. Get Free has been flogged to death. Nearly all the following singles make The Vines look like a one trick pony when you know full well they are not. Myspace should be about showcasing their talents, not parading their achievements. It needs to be a diverse spread of their career.

Oh, and I might suggest that it Get Free, Get Out, and Outtathaway should not all feature given their similarity of choral lines?

Well, I think they should put songs that shows who they are. In my opinion, everyone is sick of Get Free. They have GREAT songs out of the albums, like Don't go (how Ursa and Emilie told) and Give up give out give in. I'd like to see also up, Evil Town, Aint no Room and Vision Valley.

sweeeeeeet. Good to hear, I worry about the music industry being so fickle that people lose faith too quickly.

On a random aside, I was listening to the WD album yesterday, I must have listened to that album 1000 times, yes still I manage to find things that send chills down my spine. Find a really good set of speakers or headphones and listen to the last note of the chorus in AS II. There just aren't words to describe.... I remember reading somewhere that Craig used 42 tracks just for the vocals in that song, the most I've ever managed is 16 and that was pushing it. Phenomenal. I really wish one of the more ballad-y numbers had been released as a single. I don't think the timing was right for homesick, but recently, with people loving the whole fleet foxes thing, I reckon it would be as good a choice as any. Unless you've got a really anthemic rock tune, no one wants to hear proper rock at the moment, not here anyway.

do you know if craig's writing? if the boys still have faith in the band touring once more? are any of them getting sick of it like the douche that went to youth group?

craig is writing lots and lots of songs right now and from what ive heard i realllly dig them ! and there will certainly be more touring in the future ..... hopefully sooner rather than later

and to the best of my knowledge , none of them are ' sick of it' .. yet . ahhaha
