How does Edward not being normal excuse his behaviour? A lot of people who do fucked up things are fucked up themselves, that doesn't make their actions any less fucked up.
I'm very well aware that it's "just a damn book", but the other part of your sentence, "get over it", implies that I care about Twilight to start with. For the record, I don't, not really.
Some people can't control their actions or don't know what they're doing because of various reasons which makes it more excusable. I don't want to make it seem as if this book is profound but I guess Edward just doesn't have much experiences with girls or love since he became a vampire as a teenager and he doesn't really communicate with human-beings as a vampire. He didn't really have a social life a long time and gets his knowledge out of books. He obviously thinks it's interesting to watch people sleep because he can't himself.
You somehow seem to care about Twilight otherwise you wouldn't argue with me about it. If you didn't care at all I suppose you would'nt have started all of this. Well, maybe you're just bored or I don't know.

And of course the concept of loving someone includes not questioning your partner's actions, ever, and accepting stalkery as a perfectly natural form of flattery.
How do you know Bella doesn't question his actions? She's just fictive, I can't tell either. And I didn't say you shouldn't
ever. Well.. I don't even care now anyway. This argue is actually senseless.

I didn't say anything about you. I said things about the stuff you've said. This isn't personal, I wish you understood that.
You didn't make it seem as if it wasn't personal to me.. so how do I know? I still think it is. You can't tell me now that you really don't dislike me at least now and didn't show me in any way.

I might've phrased that badly, I apologise. What I meant was that this is arguably the message a portion of the book sends. What I did not say is that readers will suddenly get into similar relationships upon reading it. The book makes light of issues such as creepy stalking and tries to sell it as a part of 'true love' package, which is kind of not okay, for reasons that are hopefully obvious.
I didn't say you said that either. I just said that you've said they're thinking of it as a romantic thing and not being in the same situation because of all this.
This one thing doesn't really send out a nice message, I know.
I do get it but a normal or perfect romance between a vampire and a human-being doesn't make a realistic story if you'd ask me. I know that this whole book isn't but I hope you get what I'm saying.
There are so many books out there that give people the wrong ideas of life and there will always be.
I also think there are much worse books so if a kid reads Twilight I don't think it will suddenly get the idea that stalking is a romantic act. I didn't even think about something like that while reading and I haven't heard anybody saying something about it.
Do you really want to continue this much longer? I'm getting somehow tired of this by now.
But if you'd like, just provoke me a little more and I'm sure you'll get at least a little answer.
