Not sure if this is worthy or a new topic, but Guitar Hero enthusiasts (if there are any on here) will be pleased to know they can now combine their love for Guitar Hero and The Vines.

As reported by this site, The Vines are one of the three Australian bands to have one of their singles (Outtathaway!) included on The Australian Band Track Pack.

In celebration of Australia Day 2009, Activision and Red Octane will be allowing Guitar Hero World Tour fans to step into the shoes of three of Australia's most successful rock acts: Silverchair, Wolfmother and The Vines.

Aussie rockers can smash their drums, thrash their guitars or scream into the mic to three of Australia's most iconic rock anthems from 5th February 2009.

Featured in the downloadable content is Silverchair's 1995 hit "Tomorrow", which found early success as one of their first songs when it won a local music competition run by Australian television network SBS. Rounding out the Track Pack is the GRAMMY Award winning Wolfmother with "Dimension" and The Vines with their hit "Outtathaway!"

The Australian Track Pack will be available on PlayStation®Store from 5th February 2009 for AU$9.95 | NZ$11.50 (or AU$3.45 | NZ$3.90 per single).

I'm pretty happy that the Vines are going to be on Guitar Hero. I sort of play the game but I rather play a real guitar.

In relation to this topic, there's this Guitar Hero ripoff called Guitar Fever and it just sooooo horrible. It has two Vines songs on there (Get Free and Stormy). The game is so crappy and this is just a sarcastic review of it.

That is pretty awesome. Just being on that game will give them 1000 times more advertising then they've got over the past year.
