As The Ramones are an awesome classic band,

I was wondering what you all think of them.

There seems to be a craze amongst British emos, who wear the shirts saying "Hey Ho, Lets Go", but they cant actually name a single song.

So yeah, what do you think of them?

Totally unrelated to the band itself, but my classmate's got the exact same T-shirt. It just seems like a popular print, it's up there with cheap HIM and Rolling Stones tees, I guess.

I got a Ramones bag and .... it's so annoying to think people who see me think I only got it because it somehow got cool to wear ramones-branded stuff.

As for the band: Great. I dont know everything, I only own 3 albums and the anthology and know some other songs, but yeah, shame on me.

I'm not a massive die hard fan or anything I only know the standard songs but I loved Rock 'N" Roll Highschool the movie with them in it, it was freakin awesome lol.

I also really like the song they recorded for Pet Sematary, its got a great video aswell

(I'd like to point out I dont think ALL people just wear the stuff 'cus its popular, I'm aware some people are fans. )

I passively enjoy them. But personally, I prefer the Sex Pistols. God Save the Queen gets me hard for punk any day of the week. Although Sid possessed no musical talent whatsoever. He made a nice icon.

Ramones are one of my all time favouite bands!
Along with Strokes, Vines, Cure, Libs, but yeah their
fuckin amazing! One of the best things to come
out of NYC, and they are a vital ingrediant to punk.
Fuck those emo twats wearing their tees and not having
a clue who they are! And those idiots who wear Rolling Stones
tongue t-shirts just for 'style' purposes... pathetic! I have a Stones t-shirt
with the tongue logo on it and I was out for dinner with my parents
and some their friends and one of them looked at my shirt an asked
me 'what the purpose of my t-shirt was' an I didnt know what he meant
then he said 'whats that logo for?' and I said 'The Stoness' and he
looked disapointed and impressed at the same time. My dad then said
'shes well trained' haha cause their his favourite band.
Thats what I hate though, cause if I'm out wearing that t-shirt I'm
sure everyone thinks I'm clueless about them.

I had a friend like that. This girl into black metal and stuff, walking round with a Stones shirt on all the time. Does the same with a Nirvana patch, with her favourite song being "Man Who Sold His Soul" (Which is a bowie cover and called 'The Man Who Sold The World'. lol.)

I think it's cool that Lemmy played with the Ramones too, not sure how many times though. Two completely different artists playing together. Awesome.
