I heard a little while ago or read somewhere about Hamish being a DJ, and I just found this article:

The Vines DJs

The Vines are finishing up a big national tour at the moment.

And drummer Hamish reported to Sarah Howells that as well as doing their usual rock show, a couple of them are hitting clubs around the country to get their fans on the dancefloor.

"Brad and I, we go out and DJ as much as we can actually. We call ourselves The Go To Guys but everyone just books us as The Vines DJs."

Yeah wouldn't that be cool to goto the gig see the band then go out afterwards to a place where Hamish and Brad are Djing!

That was exactly what happened for me and my friends at the byron gig. We heard they were djing at this club and went there, got in for free and met Hamish, Ryan and Brad. Brad said he would buy my shirt off me and Ryan gave me tips on my guitar. I'm still shaking.

Hahaha thats so great, its like some kind of dream scenario.

I can just imagine waking up and going "oh man i had the greatest dream last night....Brad said he loved my shirt...so rad"

yeah I'm not gonna lie it was just like a dream, I also got one of craigs picks and the set list for that night.

Hahah Hamish and Brad are such a good team. LIke they're the awesome rhythm section, they go surfing, they DJ together, its almost like Hamish is Brad's big brother or something dont you think?

i was looking for the future music festival lineup/timetables but accidentally went into the Sydney timetable, i saw on the orange column right on the end, 3rd down it says the vines DJs. but unfortunately Future Music Festival has already passed it would have been great to see them. i was also wondering if there are any videos on youtube of them DJing
