This is Fake DIY reports that Melodia "is released through Cooking Vinyl on 6th October" (info for the UK). DIY also has a few copies of Melodia up for grabs.

So I guess their Heavenly deal is now officially no more?

I checked and they really are listed in their list of artists, which includes some pretty impressive names.
Cooking Vinyl is an independent label based in London, but they have stores in Germany and the US as well as distribution deals worldwide. Their US site doesn't list them, so I'm guessing the exclusive InSound deal still stands for that area.

If any of you UK people haven't grabbed a copy of Melodia yet or are holding out for a non-imported copy, you can pre-order through here for a tenner or wait until October 8 when it hopefully hits the stores.

EDIT: You can also pre-order a copy through HMV (link) for £8.99 and save a fiver, or buy the import NOW, but the import is quite more expensive.

Cooking Vinyl is a UK-based independent record company, founded in 1986. Its original orientation was toward contemporary folk music -- notably Billy Bragg, and Michelle Shocked's Texas Campfire Tapes, recorded on a Sony Walkman, one of its first releases. Since then the label has grown and diversified into releasing Rock (The Lemonheads,The Donnas, Killing Joke, The Mission), Indie (The Charlatans, Art Brut, Idlewild), Punk (Dropkick Murphys, Less Than Jake, The Buzzcocks, The Undertones and Blondie), Electronica (The Prodigy, Nitin Sawhney, The Orb) and eclectic records such as Mexican Institute Of Sound.
