Go Surfing With The Vines!

Following on from their incredible recent performances at this year’s Fuji Rock and Splendour In The Grass festivals, THE VINES are pleased to announce that they will be embarking upon their first full length national album tour in over four years this coming October and November in support of their brand new long-player, MELODIA.

To celebrate MELODIA's release and the announcement of their tour, Channel [V] has teamed up with The Vines to give you the chance to go surfing with them! Not only that but you'll also get your very own Quicksilver Surfboard, Wetsuit vest and Clothing pack!

All you've gotta do to be in the running is register and tell us: What melody will you sing to yourself while you are surfing with The Vines and why?

We've got 3 Major Prizes and 7 Minor Prizes to giveaway!

Major Prize:
• A double pass to attend a The Vines gig near you
• The opportunity to go surfing for 1 hour with Hamish and Brad from The Vines in Sydney, Byron Bay or Perth (you gotta' make your own way there)
• A Quicksilver Surf Pack containing a surfboard, clothes pack, wetsuit vest and a backpack

I wanna surf with Brad But well, Im a very bad swimmer I would be probably drowning and he would be saving me all the time....not bad imagination at all

This would sound perfect if it didn't involve singing while trying to balance my weight on a piece of floating ... thing, swimming my way through the sea and wearing tight clothes and Hamish ... in tight clothes.
Also, c'mon, "What melody will you sing to yourself"? More like what melody I would be GURGLING to myself.

Anyway, if someone from the forum wins this, you had bettah report in full detail.

Well, I know Hamish goes surfing as much as he can when he's not busy doing other things, so he can't be that bad! Brad, haven't got a clue I'm afraid. And yes you were right about Ryan he's into diving not surfing!
