I don't think it was "printed" in any, just on their websites. The "several newspapers" she's referring to are actually owned by the same newspaper, and are distributed in different areas under different names. They mostly run the same articles. news.com.au-the news agency that's owned by Rupert Murdoch, no? I was reading about it on wikipedia, and doesn't this same news agency own several Aussie newspapers and their websites?

Yep. He owns pretty much everything, but the article only ran on the more tabloid-like sites.
And really, it doesn't even confirm a break up. The article says "was once the girlfriend of..." rather than "is the ex-girlfriend of". Either the guy is a dicky writer, or he doesn't really know and doesn't want to explicitly sate they've split. Implying that both Azaria and KJ have gone through break-ups recently adds more weight to the "the two had been “on the edge for the last few weeks”" comment, and presents a chance to slip in terms that would show up in more searches (i.e., "The Vines" and "Craig Nicholls").
The article says that missing persons reports had been filed also, and I'm sure they said that they hadn't filed reports for either of them

Exactly. I've never even heard of this band before Craig and this whole thing. I don't even like this band one bit-bunch of wannabe losers! (Except for the drummer-he seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and seems to be the only one capable of wearing the big boy pants.)
All I know is I want this band by whatever name they've chosen today dead!
