You Am I and The Vines at the same festival is awesome. Although, The Vines need to take a lesson from Fugazi and only play all ages shows.

I feel selfish for saying this, but I wish they'd come back to New York. Even though they were just here.

Homebake is all ages - at least it always has been in the past so I'm sure nothing has changed and under 18s can go . I might be in the UK when Homebake is on . I'll find out in a couple of weeks if I can go... hopefully I find out before tickets go on sale since they usually sell out pretty fast . Ahh that is a great lineup, should be an awesome show .

Well sadly I think they have changed it in recent years actually, according to the Homebake website:

On the upside, Channel V did coverage last year so hopefully they will this year as well

Really? I wonder why they changed it? Festivals have always been all ages here. I hope other festivals don't follow and become over 18s as well . It's so hard for people under 18 to be able to go and see bands live, but they've always been able to see those bands at festivals. It just seems wrong to have that taken away as well .

Yeah homebake was over 18s last year as well...its just a relief that no good festivals have followed suit yet!
