And i don't see them as Atheistic as Project 86 is saying. Seems Craig is just confused a lot about religion and questions things regarding God and anything of that nature.

yeh, they're hardly satanic! there's definitely no mention of satan himself. It's just him expressing his own disregard for religion .. he's not encouraging us to worship the devil.

Actually, one could argue that interpreting them as satanic is far more dangerous. Also, interpreting them that way makes the interpreter a complete and utter moron.

Yeah, if Craig's questioning his own belief in god how would that make sense to be writing satanic lyrics, if he doesn't even think he believes in that? I guess the only way I can see how it's satanic is that it's a sin to question god's existance, and it could be satan making him think that way...but that's the part of religion I hate. It makes people paranoid and feel guilty for having conciousness. Like:

subconcious: what if god doesn't even exist, you're just wasting your time

I agree. I've been thinking about it and realize, we shouldn't be taking these songs/lyrics so seriously. We don't know what was going on inside Craig's head at the time he wrote them. Nor do we know if that's how he really feels. He could just be writing lyrics to make one think. Or for shock value. Or to sound rebellious. To be rock and roll...or just to rhyme....or whatever sounds good at the moment.

It reminds me of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. Everyone tried to interpret what that song means....and in reality...Robert Plant/Jimmy Page said it didn't mean a thing. And all that time, fans all over the world were trying desperately to decipher the lyrics. They tried so hard to find a meaning, when it reality, it meant nothing at all.
I think the same is happening here. We shouldnt be taking Craig's lyrics SO SERIOUSLY!
