I had the same thought when I found out that, before Hamish, David Oliffe was the drummer.

Patrick played really good, Brad does the job for me but it's like the root note thing mentioned above, good bass playing of his is she is gone, although that reminds me of Patrick's playing and songs like mary jane, homesick and other oldies where I like the bass a lot so Patrick>Brad and i don't think he fits sometimes they look like some clothes commercial models
Both are good bass players.

Brad also seems cooler, like all i remember from when Patrick was in the band is his constant whinging about things to do with the band to the media, then his supposed best friend gets diagnosed with aspergers and he bails on him for a mediocre pop rock group. Seesh what a bitter guy he was in one of Australias biggest groups for 2 years and had it all but still didn't find any fun. He used to seem cool. Hope he enjoys being in a band whos biggest hit is a cover.

i like to hear highly evolved's and winning days' songs than vision valley's and some of melodia's songs.. the bass play in h.e and w.d just perfect.. i think it's better than in melodia and ofcourse the bass play in v.v *which some dont have a bass play*..
and i like some vines live which still have pat in it..
