Actually at vines shows I think that I usually have seen about 50/50 when it comes to guys and girls. The thing is that the girls like to be right in the front (and then of course the guys shove up behind them! ...I do think he said "was that a dude?"

Yeah at least half the audience on the night were guys, if not more guys than girls actually. Maddie's right about the barrier thing, girls like to get up the front because one or two rows back tends to be where all the guys jump around and crush you . And girls seem to like forums more... so it makes it seem that more fans are female... when in fact it's just that more girls like posting on forums . Well that's my theory anyway .

Hi, just came to say, the "thing" craig is holding is a jacket which I brought him. No big deal!
I just work with vintage clothes in a shop, thought that one might suit Craig. He was very pleased and it was a perfect fit.

The past couple of months have been a series of dissapointments for The Vines for me.
But i havent criticised the Vines, ive criticised the the people around them making silly decisions.
I love the Vines. but im not gona ass kiss them or say positive stuff i dont mean just because I dont wana come across too negative.

Ive already said I like a lot of their new songs (something thank god The Vines have complete control over).

craig's always writing songs - and anxious to record them. that's a typical answer from him - doesn't mean they're planning to record another full-on album asap!

from what we've read and heard, after they play some of these big festivals, they're definitely planning on doing more extensive touring in oz not to mention dates in the UK and US. it'd be great to see them branch out and play major cities in europe - not just the UK! - as well as play some US shows other than New York and L.A., which is all they've namechecked so far. nothing against them playing NYC and LA again, but c'mon - their fanbase extends a little beyond those two cities. i'd think some shows in chicago, seattle, vegas, atlanta, d.c., and dallas/houston wouldn't be too taxing and would hit some of the major US regions.

as for south america...i'm praying for ya!

True true, my main concern is UK simply cos i live there (and im selfish! lol), but i do hope they do a more extensive world tour so they can reach the other fans.
Though i think we all keep forgetting The Vines did say originally they would never do a propper tour again due to Craigs aspergers, so maybe we're just expecting a bit too much from them. I guess any shows are better than no shows, and the Vines can't tour as much as other bands.
The only reason i get frustrated is because they keep talking about doing US/UK tours, but they never happen. If it was said "we probably wont do one till next year" then atleast i would know roughly how long it will be, its just slightly annoying when they go "yeh we'll prolly go to the UK sumtime around july..." and then never mention it again.
But still I know they will when they can, along with all the other countries!
