I was down at the set of 'he's a rocker' for a couple of hours this afternoon, filming some stuff for ivy league. after I've finished all my horrendous essays I'll edit it into a musical montage of wonderment and it might go on ninemsn or something. I actually have no idea what they want to do with it. honestly, it was just kinda cool to be there.

I captured the best moment ever of craig nicholls insolently lighting, and smoking, a cigarrette inside...(you mean he's SMOKING NOW? what is he GOING TO DO NEXT?! A CIGARETTE, that you can LEGALLY BUY IN SHOPS?! I'LL TRY TO CARRY ON BUT I AM SHOCKED AND APPALLED.*)

also he played guitar behind his head, and between his legs, and I'm fairly sure he knocked over at least one microphone stand.

viva la vines. the new single rocks and rolls like a rock that rolls. if you don't buy it I'm gonna lose all respect for you and punch you. in the gonads.

According to what she has written, I imagine a very intersting kinda video. Dogs, Craig in tight green pants (those he's been wearing a lot lately perhaps?) and dancers in gold leotards (!). This mixture seems very odd to me but still I can't wait to see it. So excited!

And we see the dancers and the fact that the tight green pants are the same jeans I saw him in, in New York.

I am especially excited to see what sort of dance has been devised, I don't know about you lot

i don't know what you gonna think about my opinion, but i don't like too much the ideas for the "He's a Rocker" video. doesn't looks like The Vines work, or a work for them. i don't know why i don't like it, but that's what i think.

I went past Granville just the other day on the train!

wow.. the gold leotards are um.. different. for them.
But the dogs may be interesting

My curiosities as to what this clip will be like is well..undefinable. It'll be interesting that's for sure, as they always are

Any ideas as to when the single will be out anyone?

yeh, i know, The Vines changed between Winning Days to Vision Valley, but i liked that changed, Vision Valley is even my fav The Vines album, but i mean that, c'mon, are they a rock band or a dance band??, they had before really nice ideas for their videos, and all them were kick asses, but the ideas for He's a Rocker are not The Vines hard rock spirit-like.

We shouldn't be so quick to judge, we haven't even seen the video yet! Maybe they're trying to throw us off.

Besides, I don't think the chicks in the gold leotards are going to be the main part of the video... I have a feeling it's gonna be very chaotic and interesting, which = rock & roll.

I dunno how you can say that... without seeing the finished video. Plus since when have the Vines ever been hard rock? i don't think they are strictly a rock band either, their albums have lots of variety. Be open minded.

That's how I see it going down...they'll probably be in the background, start dancing when the chorus hits, and then as the video continues, Craig just flops around and knocks them over and just creates general chaos.

This idea sounds pretty different.

My sisters friend lives near the hall where they filmed the video and apparently saw everyone outside at different times through the afternoon. She said that;

Craig was definitely wearing green pants. CHECK!

That there were heaps of dogs and their owners there.

That at one point a horse was dropped off dressed in some sort of red flag. The band came out at one point and Craig rode the horse around the car park...

maybe it was a practice for the filming?
Craig was WEARING TIGHT GREEN PANTS!...oh mentioned that one!

I love the song it is one of their best!

I hope the others wear brightly coloured spandex as well.

You see, maybe I was fearing that The Vines sought to portray an arrogant sort of 'I've got girls dancing in skin tight clothes behind me every time I pick up my guitar' attitude; some people in the music industry have adopted this attitude before.
However, it now seems to me as if this is simply a short film of a zany character.

hmm, it had a part of the outtathaway video clip, that was in black and white.
it said "world exclusive premiere of the vines new single, what u want friday at 4pm"
or something along those lines. i can't remember exactly, i was too busy screaming and being excited. haha.

why don't you upload your video to youtube and i'll watch it and tell you if it was the one I saw?
I'll try and chance upon it again, but I don't watch channel v much. anyhow.
