In my opinion, Melodia>Braindead for the album title. It may be a made up word but it's a made up word that I like!

I actually think 'Braindead' would be a slightly better album title tham 'Melodia', although this is a nice word and I personally don't really care what the album's called as long as i can FREEEEEAAAAKKKKOOUUTTTTT to it.

Melodia means melody in portuguese. I liked. But Braindead would be a great title too.
God, I can't wait to hear it. My ears are screaming " I wanna hear new vine's sooongs. Please, give me what I want"..

'Brain Dead' would have been simply English. 'Melodia' nods to a many languages, as we've pointed out
I reckon this likewise nods to fans as a whole, the internationality of the Vines' fan base, and says that they (the band) will now begin stopping for shows in India, Brazil, Sovenia, Sweden, Chile, etc., etc.

And since everyone else is saying it. If you remove the 'a' at the end of Melodia then you have melodi which is the Swedish word for melody.

I like the name Melodia much better than Brain Dead. Ahhh, can't wait until the album's released!

Although, what about distribution of the album? Because their on a smaller label now and I want Vines in the UK. :/ Hmmm.

it will definitly be released in the uk. maybe on july 14th but definitly it will be out there in july. and you can still order it online (i know its not so great but whatever) i dont know about germany as well. i guess i will have to order it online too.

Spanish or Italian? But i thought maybe since the Vines recorded the album out here in L.A....that maybe they were influenced by the huge Latino population out here who speak Spanish.
So i was thinking maaaybe they wrere influenced by that. But then again maybe not. Idk..

Well I hope this album is MELODIC at least, Vision Valley should have been called Melodia. Melodia to me means like, Melodic songs, you know, ones that go over 3 minutes and build and come down etc. Songs from bands like Muse, not the Vines. I thought they were progressing with songs like Spaceship and Vision Valley, those are Melodic. From what Ive heard of the new songs the album doesn't fit the title, and putting Kara Jayne on an album is like getting a tattoo of your boyfriend/girlfriends name on your body, cept this one Craig, you can't remove. Should have made it a b-side.
