I don't think you should go around picking up major spelling/typing errors...I mean, if someone's genuinely stupid, they should have the right to detail that stupidity on a Vines forum. They should also have the right to think that they're always in the right, even when they're clearly exhibiting the intelligence and/or wit of a sprout. Think of Craig, Tinkerbell, rub your shins, and then come back to this forum when you're ready to lose half of your mind.

I liked the Smashing Pumpkins when they stopped releasing records. The Libertines were fantastic, but of course that's been lost under a barrage of tabloid headlines and drug dealers. Lots of people hate The Libertines now, solely because they've read the newspaper stories and think that Peter is a dickhead. No-one listens to the music, which is what is was all about originally. It was noise and chaos, but now it's petulance and oblivion.

Listen to Up The Bracket. Ignore the drugs and the paparazzi and the arguments and the vomit and the fact you think Carl is ohmygodsobuff and just listen to the fucking music. Please.

i love the libertines..i dont think they're over-rated at all...but then again i live in a place where barely anyone knows them. as for the smashing pumpkins..they had some good songs, but to me, they're just blah.

Hardcore! The From Despair To Where single is one of my favourites.



Their sound changes so much from album to album that it's difficult to say. I'd say that Motorcycle Emptiness (from Generation Terrorists, their first album) and A Design For Life (from Everything Must Go, their fourth album) are their best songs, in that they're complete pieces of perfection. I don't think you'll find more perfect albums than The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go, either.
