Tenuous link, but "leper cult disciple of a still-born Christ" is my favourite insult.
Hardcore! The From Despair To Where single is one of my favourites.

I tried *hangs head in shame*
I've heard a few songs by them, but they are the more recent ones, which I am not liking so much.
What are some of their best songs? Their sound changes so much from album to album that it's difficult to say. I'd say that Motorcycle Emptiness (from Generation Terrorists, their first album) and A Design For Life (from Everything Must Go, their fourth album) are their best songs, in that they're complete pieces of perfection. I don't think you'll find more perfect albums than The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go, either.
So...songs I think are quite quickly likeable / representative of each album:
Generation Terrorists:Motorcycle Emptiness
Little Baby Nothing
You Love Us
Gold Against The Soul:La Tristesse Durera (Scream To A Sigh)
From Despair To Where
Life Becoming A Landslide
The Holy Bible:This is really hard, as, as I said, it's pretty much a perfect album...
Faster
Yes
This Is Yesterday
Everything Must Go:A Design For Life
No Surface All Feeling
Removables
This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours:If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
You Stole The Sun From My Heart
Nobody Loved You
In between albums, they released The Masses Against The Classes (a single). I recommend it.
Know Your Enemy:Found That Soul
Ocean Spray
His Last Painting
LifebloodI Live To Fall Asleep
A Song For Departure
1985
If you can be bothered with others/B-sides:
Motown Junk (a key Manics song)
Spectators Of Suicide (Heavenly version, not Generation Terrorists version. The Heavenly version is one of the most spectacular songs I've ever heard; the GT version is not)
Prologue To History
You should be able to find The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go pretty cheaply on Amazon Marketplace; if you've any spare cash, I'd really recommend them. As I said, they're pretty much perfect albums without a bad song on them.
