you'r being a bit harsh dont you think?? its funny, the karaoke bar "dimples" is this rad little place in the valley in LA,. cheap drinks and FREE karaoke,. and they got a whole like wardrobe of crazy, stuupid props to incorporate into ur performance,.. + they give you fotos and if they thought you were entertaining enuff they make you a dvd!!! i was going through the karaoke book and found the vines and i thought it would be hillarious if i put kj's name down for one of their songs, without telling her.. haaa,. yea that was kinda mean of me,. but funny,.. mwahaha!!!!

Actually, I think he's really afraid of her. When he was on Gonzo (I think it was that show, not sure, though) in 2004 after they'd shot the video for Ride, he was asked about Courtney Love and her appearance in the studio, and he made it quite clear that he felt very uncomfortable talking about her - he even said he hadn't seen her even though we've got pictures of the two of them together, and quickly changed the topic.
Plus, Courtney Love reportedly hired private detectives to dig out information about Craig. He's got every reason to dislike her.

Perhaps this is what Courtney Love sees in Nicholls. Her obsession with the Vines – despite them being dogged by bad reviews in the U.S. – is only getting more intense. She tracked down (rumour has it she is constantly hiring private detectives) the location of the Vines “Ride” clip shoot, showed up and demanded to spend time with Nicholls. When Love was turned away, she simply showed up at the Aussie Invasion’s Irving Plaza show in New York.
It happened to be the second New York show which fell on the same day that Love went a little madder than usual: Wednesday March 17th. That afternoon, she pre-recorded her already-infamous appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman – where she jumped on his desk and ripped off her shirt. Then, somewhere between performing her own show that night and being arrested for throwing a mic stand at someone in the audience, she caught the Vines live onstage.
According to Kelly, she demanded to be allowed onstage and perform with the band. She wouldn’t take no for an answer either. She stood right by the mixing desk and insisted that an announcement be made informing the crowd that she would be playing with the Vines. Of course, it never happened and Love moved on to create more chaos.

Early internet reports gave the working title as Braindead. But we heard direct from the band this week that it'll be called Melodia.

We also heard that when they were recording at Sunset studios in LA Courtney Love called a couple of times, trying to speak to singer Craig. She wanted to hang out with the band - but was told by studio assistants that because of a tight deadline they just weren't going to be able to catch up....

How does any of this make Craig look like a chump? Who he dates is his own choice, and from all accounts (aside from here) KJ seems like a pretty cool person. Courtney's obsession has absolutely nothing to do with him, nor does KJ's choice to play in her band (which is a request that is unlikely to be filled, IMO).

There really is nothing else to talk about. All the forum members have either left or decided to stick around on an empty, dead forum and, well, nit-pick, if you want to call it that way. What else is there? The latest release is only available in Australia, there's been zero promotion, there hasn't been an article on them in freakin forever, not even a single new photograph of the band has been published, nobody seems to give a fuck about as little as hinting fans what is hapenning next ... should I continue? Picking on Craig's supposed girlfriend may not be the best way to deal with it, but is just as fair as them not telling us anything (=anything. about anything. at all.) Nobody would talk about Craig's girlfriend if there were actual updates on the band and their music, which is the primary reason we're all (still) here.
Also, Courtney Love is insane. KJ is seriously better off as far away as possible from her.
