I haven't read the entire thread, but if I'm correct, the general consensus thus far is that: a) The Vines are back and possibly sounding the slightest bit repetitive, yet still completely awesomesauce because they're fierce-ass bitches, and b ) Sprinkles and Soylatte are idiots.

I am in love with Ryan's bowler derby.

It always looks like it was photoshopped on...not that he's actually wearing it.

Luckily I decided to check my grandparents TV 1/2hr before the show, because it turns out they did have MTV! so I spent 2 1/2hr watching absolute rubbish! for 10min of Kisschasy and the guys! And I managed to tape them too

The interviews were great for both, so funny, loved to hear the guys were looking forward to seeing Kisschasy and all the other people that mentioned wanting to see them both.

And both performances were great, Kisschasy were awesome and the new song was cool to

They were fantastic and the light show was awesome.Love the photo's of the boys it looks like they half enjoyed the night.I was abit dissapointed that alot of the focus seemed to be on mischa barton and the veronicas though and not more on them, but it's cool when other people at the awards comment that they want to hear the band perform so yeah...

Nah I wasn't, I was about 4 rows back from the right side of the stage, the people around me didn't seem to know much about The Vines ( plebs ).
I haven't watched the show on tv yet, but it was quite good being there... might be a different story when I watch it on tv though . I'm really looking forward to seeing the guys do their own shows!

ummm....there was quite a few, I remember the Veronica's I think, and Yves Klein Blue, I don't know why they were there? they said they were releasing an album the end of this year possibly

You love the song?! I think it's good they're going back to their roots, although everyone else seems to be disappointed by that for some reason. You're gonna see a resemblance if you compare and look for it, so it's best just to listen to the song for what it is ya know? Plus, I don't think they've ever incorporated funk into their music have they? That bass sounds pretty funky. Everything about that song rocks though, it's awesome! And definitely a great song to jump to.

Firstly I want to say thanks for recording and uploading interview and performance.
And now....I LOVED IT! They did great!
Even though I'm not blown away with I'm a rocker, but I still think it's a great song.
And Ryan should really, really sing a bit louder.
Anyway they looked good, sounded good and it felt like they were having an awesome time. I'm so glad for them

harsh I won't make my decision until I hear the record...I have a default quality bias against live shows.

umm didnt know where to post this but my friend said she was watching Mischa Barton being interviewed on Rove and she was saying that she was so glad at the MTV awards becuase she got to meet The Vines and they were really cool!
I hate Mischa Barton personally, but that's moved her up the ranks a little I guess.
