if we're being honest it's not the biggest change really is it?
a green background when the last one was black...
and a 5 second video to tease the shit out of us.
are we expecting the new one to be something completely different, or is it going to be sticking with the green background theme? I really think if they want to look like they're making a fresh start with this album and another crack at the cherry, they need a new angle, something completely new. otherwise it just looks to new comers like they are flogging on with the old style

we've got a new album, a new bassist, a new record company backing this thing- I think we need to see something a bit new in the website if it's going to be one of the first ports of call for a would-be fan.

I'm just excited they did something to the page. It was dead in the water for too long.
I think (and hope) the new site will be in the spirit of the new album's artwork - very much in the sense the old page was - but they can't surface it until any official announcement about the album and its artwork is made, I guess.

Yeah I think that's just something to tide us over. It is teasing, but it's supposed to be! That's what makes it so exciting! Gosh.

I am wondering...how would the album cover look.
Maybe the new site will be in the same style and maybe it will be in function when album comes out, or a single.
I just hope that it won't be to minimalistic, I like the stylish black but it can't be a bit more ....complex that's the word I think.

i really really desperately undyingly want it NOT to be that green. I want a completely new design, a completely new approach and something totally different that marks the rebirth of the vines. If its the same site rehashed in a different colour I'll be so pished- that'd look so half arsed. 'the vines' font of the main logo is all well and good... but I just think they need to create something different around that. or maybe overhaul the whole thing. a continuation of what they've done before would be a big mistake.

I notice the site has gone down- are we on the cusp of the long awaited new website perchance?

man, it's so weird to seethose old pages again. I didn't know the Highly Evolved one but i knew the Winning Days one by heart, i always came on it just to see how the little Flash gif was creating itself. i found it fascinating. aha. now i just can't wait to see how the new page will look like. who's making it by the way?
