Today i just bought Vision Valley on vinyl and im stoked with it, cool to have the logo so massive. But i was wondering if Highly Evolved and Winning Days are on vinyl also? i know some singles i think came out on vinyl but thats about it. If those albums are, are they easy to obtain? (sorry 'bout all these question but i'm a n00b to vinyl collecting haha.)

Apart from that do you enjoy the Vines expirence on CD or old school Vinyl?

Yep, the Highly Evolved and Winning Days albums are on Vinyl.

Other Vines Vinyls available are:
Factory 7"
Sunchild/Hot Leather 7" (available in green and also in black)
^Those two are quite rare and you'll need to be prepared to pay quite a bit of money for them. The black is slightly more expensive than the green because it was the first print.

Fuck The World - 7" and 12" (the 12" is harder to find as it was a US promo)

You should be able to find most of them on www.amazon.com and you will find most of the rarer items on www.eil.com, also give www.redeye.com.au a try. But check ebay first cause everything is usually quite a bit cheaper there .

I like listening to the music on vinyl, the sound is definitely better. Although I don't get to listen to my vinyls much anymore since I moved away from my mums house and her record player. Oh well, the records are big and look very pretty lined up on my shelf .

I think I remember reading that it was actually their first single off Winning Days....which I don't get because how could you send that to the radio stations when it says fuck 23 times. It's practically the whole chorus.

It wasn't the first single, just the first released song. They released it as a white vinyl. Probably cause they'd played it heaps during the Highly Evolved tour so fans woulda known it by the time of its release. I remember it was available for pre-order on their site in like late 2003? or maybe early 2004.

I think Factory was re-recorded for Highly Evolved.

I think factory was their first single release... but yeh could have been recorded for highly evolved, because highly evolved wasnt out when it was released, and I think the track Highly Evolved was touted as being their "1st single" off the album. But factory was definately released, because it got reviews and such.

Factory was, if I remember correctly, their first EP and was definitely done before Highly Evolved was even recorded or before they even got signed to Capitol. I think demoes of it were being handed out while they were supporting You Am I in 2001 or something like that?

EDIT: After a quick look at the FAQ it appears that Factory was the first UK single, released on XL recordings in November 2001. So I guess Highly Evolved was the first to be released worldwide?
