i grew up with nirvana, this band helped me out of shitty situations and feelings. whenever i had a problem, i just turned on nirvana and started thinking. i'm not really the type of person that talks about its problems, and nirvana helped and it still does

Well... Nirvana is probably my favourite band, most definatly one of them but I voted Pearl Jam. I won't call myself a fan or call them a favourite band. I adore there music but all I have is the first disc of rearview mirror. Second disk was bleh. First disk cannot be beaten though and it earned my vote.

I love Nirvana, but I also love the way Chris Cornell(ex Soundgarden) sings...

ive never listened to sonic youth or pearl jam, so i voted for nirvana, and the only song ive listened to by soundgarden is "spoonman", which is really awesome by the way

the only song i know by soundgarden is black whole sun.

I can't remember what band I voted for, but I really hope and think that I voted for Sonic Youth! Cause they rock. There's not really much more to say, other than they've been around for a really long time and have still continued to make great alt. music and changing our perception of how music's suppose to sound. Or at least that's what I think.

Edit: There's a slight possibility that I might've voted for Nirvana, seeing as I was huge fan of them some years ago. They were the band that truely got me into listening to music.
