Under the "Early Life" section of Alex's wikipedia page it mentions how he was influenced by Craig Nicholls and Oasis. I found that pretty cool

Yeah, I also read that the Vines were the first live band Alex ever saw in 2002. He was really impressed with Craig's freakouts.

I read that he was inspired by the way Craig was all "spaced out" on stage when he went to see him, and decided to act the same way when he performed.
