1) Don't Listen to the Radio (mixes Beatles and Nirvana the best of any of the songs)
2) Gross Out (as Hamish said in a video I saw, "no matter where you put it, it puts the speed at 100 mph")
3) Spaceship (I really like the fusion of two seemingly opposite genres)
4) Anysound (anthemic, "most like Ride" award)
5) Candy Daze (I got hooked on that part in the middle before the solo, very Beatlesesque)
6) Fuk Yeh (very unrefined, I like it for that reason but it's also its downfall)
7) Going Gone (Intriguing harmonies and melodies, best of the 3 "ballads" on the album)
8) Futuretarded (Definitely "punk" but doesn't really feel like it has a special place)
9) Take Me Back (I like how the Vines are experimenting but they're sticking to rock unlike many of their contemporaries *ahem*White Stripes)
10) Atmos (best solo on the album but not much else to its name)
11) Vision Valley (almost feels as if it was not allowed to evolve, but otherwise good)
12) Nothin's Comin' (like Anysound except not as good)
13) Dope Train (this song happens to be the longest non ballad on the album and I hate that; they should have extended several much better songs that have a hook other than screaming dissonance, still above average)

I don't think think "Don't listen to the Radio" sounds too much like Nirvana or the Beatles (more the Beatles than Nirvana though). Reminds me a lot of the Jesus and Mary Chain's album "Automatic" and 80's pop with that doo-doo-doo-doo guitar lick. It's probably one of their most unique songs.

That's sort of how I feel about Take Me Back.

Honestly, when I heard the CD version I didn't like it nearly as much because I think it's a bit overproduced. But when it's done right I like the song MUCH more than Vision Valley (most people are opposite I think).
