I was looking though old newspapers to do a collage art project and found a short artical about the vines...i cut it out but can't remember what newspaper it was from...i guess the sysney mornig herald.

"Vines in blooming fine form
The vines wrapped up a mini tour last night in brisban and by all accounts the band are back in form like never before. I remember being in chicago in 2004 to witness a shambolically brilliant set that culminated in Craig Nicholls storming off stage and locking himself in a room backstage for several hours. At the time it all seemed normal behavior for a rock star.
Since his dignosis with aspergers syndrome later that year, all the seemingly arrogant behavior was put in perspective, and it has been a joy to see the guys make their way back onto the radio and stages around the place over the last 12 months.
They were the secret band at last years splendour in the grass festival in byron bay and performed a great set at last weeks Great escape festival. the band are currently working on a follow up album to their third album Vision Valley, hopefully with a release later this year."

It's nice to see them in the paper, even though the artical is very small and was on the bottom of a page, i only just saw it, luckly i needed a picture or something from the back of that page so i had a proper look.

Now that it has been announced so many times, they better not delay it! I want to have the album in my hands by ... September! I'm greedy. And impatient. But those are good qualities to have. We'll probably have to wait till like ... December or something.
But still. It would be great if they could release it on Craig's birthday.

craig has passed the danger year for rock stars ages ago (27), unlike kurt cobain, jim morrison and jimi hendrix.
i'd like to have the album by september, or more i'd like them to set a month so i can look forward to.

I would actually prefer if they didn't give out the month, because I'd just constantly think about the album and would be able to concentrate on anything else. Yeah, I tend to be obsessive about that. (surprise, surprise )

When can they do it if the play so much in this time??

It's not like i'd be able to get to the city to see more vines shows, so i am happy to wait for the album...part of the reason i want to know a month of release is because i want somthing to obsess over...i mean i had the great escape.....now i have to obeses over the whites stripes new album....but thats only like a month away i need something else to ramble on about.
