My two bands are called The Blocked Drains and Mr Trash and The Angry Kids but I don't really like either of those names.

I'm in a band that have had alot of different names..
1. Entschuldigung (wich we changed cause people thought we were from Germany)
2. Åukæij (we changed that cause people couldn't spell it and to concerts we were called Okay and Orkan )
3. Elegantik (thats our name now, but were thinking of changin it to 'En, to, tre du skylder mig en is' wich meens: 'one, two, three, you owe me an icecream' it sounds alot better in danish i guess)

The Tits would be a pretty great bandname.

did you know 'Gomez' got their name because they had a friend called Gomez who always got lost, so they put a sign out the front of where they were playing that said 'Gomez, the gig is here' and people thought that's what they were called. I think that's kind kewl

I called my band "The Toadstools." I thought it was pretty rad.

Ah, I've not really thought of this myself. But, I'm a big Whitlams fan and one of my Whitlams friends said, if they had a band they'd call it The Freedmans. You know, coz the Whitlams (Tim's decision) named themselves the Whitlams after Gough Whitlam... So, t'would be amusing.

A suggestion from someone else has been, not the whole band name but the name should start with "with". Because on posers and things after the billing of the main act they write "with" before putting the support acts. So, in the end the poster would say like "with with the Whitlams" and it would look silly.


Some of the band names people have mentioned are already taken. I know there's a pretty big band called the Sins.
