i just heard that the vines are on the line-up for the blackjack festival in perth with the pixies, the living end and eskimo joe!
i hope this is true, coz i soooo badly want to see them again, and gonig to tasmania isnt looking like an option,
anyway just a heads up to anyone in perth or anyone willnig to go to perth!
i'm not sure of the date but ill let you know when i hear!

i contacted vines mgmt about these shows and was told the only confirmed dates so far are the great escape and southern roots festivals, but to please stay tuned for more...

the festival is held in perth, and my friend said that the line up was announced, thought im no too sure
hopefully its like the big day out, everyone sorta knew they were playing waaaay before they were announced, but its sounds right, since they're playing with the pixies and stuff around australia at the same time

a lotta tall people were there. It's been a while since Sept.5th! at the Annandale
A bit of the Trivium guys were hanging there so it was like a Shihad/Grinspoon crowd-rawk!
i wrote a bit of a review thing,but i have been suffering from concussion from that day, Man! it hurts so bad.so some details i might have left out...
at the BDO PERTH everyone's phone cameras were drenched(from the hosing down 4 times!!) and breaking apart around me-did this happen at the other BDO gigs?

Oh yeah, my camera got a good soaking - especially at Melbourne and Adelaide! They just didn't turn the hose off . My camera wasn't water proof, but it somehow survived - I kept giving the hose man evil looks when ever he came near me with the water sprayer haha. So they did try and avoid me - I was still soaked through by the end of it though .
Aww I'm so glad there are a few people going to this one!!!

God those hose people were annoying! This one guy kept hitting me directly in the face Thats why I didn't get any pics, I don't think my camera would have survived. I'm glad yours did though, we all rely on you for pics

i jst got home from perth, but only quicky, i have a tonne of photos of them playing live, and then craig ryan and hamish watchnig eskimo joe play, and then i got a dodgy one of craig watchnig gnarls barkley, i'll upload them tomorrow, but they were totally amazing!
and they even playes sunshining live which craig said they've never done before, and it was really good

im all sick and jet lagged and well, a little bit crushed, we got there super early and had the barrier all the way through to the pixies!!

The white pieces are actually silver. If you look at the knobs (Hah knobs) you can see the reflection. I had a close up look, because I was wondering if it was new too (I swear I wasn't checking out his legs ), but it looks like the same one.
