I had black jeans and a black Muse top on and was right up the front. =] So did anyone else here catch them? I thought they were so awesome in the Gold Coast that I had to see them again, and they didn't dissapoint. The mosh was far more intense than last Sunday's so I had to escape (just before Ride I think).

The set was very similar to Gold Coast's, but they ended with Get Free instead of F.T.W. I think they played So Fresh, So Clean too, as I didn't recognize it.

Anyone who's been monitoring the lookalikes thread would know about Cav, he was front row with a beater on. Horny Vines Forum members.

Yeah it was a great set, Craig played really tight and yeah the Mosh was going off and the crowd was pretty big, im covered in bruises.

the adelaide crowd was bigger then gold coast? weird. i mean not that the gold coast crowd was huge or anything. so what band shirt did craig wear to adelaide. and more importantly, did allie go?..

Dude, at a mosh like that I would have crowned it as an achievement if I could get my phone out of my pocket. He wore the green shirt like he did at GC but with a dark blue hoodie over it.

The Vines were fantastic in Adelaide, Craig, Hamish and Brad were all smiles except for Ryan who was a little sad looking but managed to throw out water to the crowd when they were screaming for water...as did Brad!

Crowd says: Water! Water! Water!

Craig says: Coke! Coke! Coke!

Vines were crazy in Adelaide, prob best act of the Day,

I started off front right of the pit and moved my way to the left, it was intense, i threw my guts up all over the side of the stage, but jumped straight back into the pit, it was awesome. Trashing the stage was awesome, i reckon the organizers didn't realise there would be that bigger turn out, otherwise they would of got a bigger stage, but i reckon they were awesome on the smaller stage (essential) more of a personalised feeling.

Adelaide did ourselves proud, we showed the Vines wat were all about, good rock!!!!

Yea the Vines in Adelaide were easily the best show of the day, along with Muse.

I was about 5 from the front, moved back a bit to get some air half way through cause it was an incredibly insane mosh! They needed a bigger stage for sure, but the Essentials stage made you feel closer to the band than say the Green stage did. There was an insane amount of crowd surfers too, which i think wasn’t so good (got kicked in the head)…but looking back it might have been the only way for some to get out. So intense and so hot, but so worth it! They played an awesome fast set with my highlights being Ride, Gross Out, Highly Evolved and Don’t Listen.
There was one song in there I didn’t know…I thought it might be a b-side or cover, but my friend thought it may be a new song. But it in the end it looks like it was Outkasts ‘’So fresh So Clean’’ yea? From what I could hear Craig sounded great, you could see the heat was getting to him too (guzzling down the coke) and the only thing out of tune was his guitar for Vision Valley, but overall they put on one HELL of a show. I also loved the guitar throw into the curtain at the end. Wouldn’t be a vines set without the drums and guitar being smashed up!

Craig wore a green beatles shirt from memory. I tried to take some photos with my phone, but man it was hard to get it in and out of my pocket. Here is two that I did get (Sorry, very poor) :

I'm not going to Perth (I think The Vines are about to go on stage over in Perth soon - or they've already been on. I know theres a time difference in Perth - I think it's 4 hours but I'm probably wrong ), Perth was way to expensive for me. I'm a student and only work a couple of weeks a year . Anyhow... pics .

Haha, it probably was . It was in the mid 30s that day . Although I'd stopped being hot during Trivium as I slowly got heat stroke completely surrounded by big guys drenched in sweat.
That mosh was worse than the one at Gold Coast. It was worse than the Muse mosh in Melbourne when I was second from the front. The worst Vines mosh still goes to Sydney though, with Adelaide following closely behind . I'm a walking bruise .

I only like about 2 songs from MCR. They're new album..sucks more than the first one. But, I guess I don't hate them. Yeah, I'm pretty open when it comes to music.

I recall My Chemical Romance dedicating a song to Scribe, but I can't remember them saying anything about The Vines. That's awesome though.

yuk. The Trivium mosh looked awful, I'm glad we were away from it in Melbourne. Although something similar happened to me in Muse, I was completely surrounded by huge sweaty men and I couldn't breathe and thought I would pass out. I'm sure it wasn't nearly as bad as being surrounded by sweaty Trivium fans though.

Oh no! That's bad! I think I was closer to the stage than you in Muse in an area so packed that few sweaty guys could get into . The worst place to be in concerts I think is 3 - 10 rows back from the stage I think that's where most of the crazy moshing happens . But yeah I had the dizzy sick feeling after Trivium in Adelaide and Brisbane - the Sydney Trivium set wasn't so bad. Ha, I think some of the Muse fans can be just as big and smelly as the Trivium ones so I'd say you suffered just as much as I did in Trivium . Why do guys insist on taking their shirts off in concerts? Nothing sucks more than being completely surrounded by big guys without shirts slippery with sweat . At least shirts absorb it a bit so you don't get that slimey feel. Ick. Oh well, apart from the sweat and the not being able to breath we had fun right?

yeah we definately did I hate those smelly shirtless guys too I think I was definitely in the worst possible spot for Muse If I remember correctly you were in the spot closer to the front which was mostly smaller people. And then there were all the big sweaty moshers. It was much better once I got pushed back a bit and I could actually see Matt (and Craig watching him) which was nice.

^ That's the guys tour manager Shaun, Jacqui wasn't at the Adelaide show and she usually films the gigs so Shaun was taking over. I don't know what they're doing with all the footage though... hopefully they make it available to fans sometime though! I think a couple of the songs they recorded at the Annandale in September were put up onto DTI, but that's it so far.

I do. Craig likes to look at pretty videos of himself ... and drool over shots of Ryan's ass. I don't blame him at all. Ryan's got a great ass.

I know this is a little off topic...but i was wandering if anyone new whether the guys are going to be bringing a live dvd out anytime soon? They would have had the perfect opportunity to film since they have just had a tour. I really hope they do coz id love to see it!
