he's worn exactly the same thing for all three BDO's so far

Oh my goodness the guys were incredible yesterday! The crowd went absolutely mental (and I have the bruises to show for it ). It was one of the best performances by The Vines I've ever seen - they were on fire! Everyone was singing yelling pushing jumping - and the crowd surfers were crazy. Hamish's drum kit took an absolute beating - haha Craig had Hamishs kick drum (is that what the bass drum on the floor with the kick pedal is called? ) over his head at one stage before hurling it down. And Craig's guitar was completely trashed - broken in two. They all looked so happy! Hamish and Craig were constantly smiling through the gig and Craig went on about how much they love Sydney . There was one sad part though, Ryan dedicated Ride to a guy called Adam who 'went to sleep on Christmas and never woke up' .
And well, they did Adam proud, the were completely amazing! Okay... pics .

Im sad cos i missed Muse...i got there too late and there was no good spots left But then i went early to the Presets and got a good spot and danced lots and lots

Oh there was no way I was going to get pulled out - I felt like I was going to faint every now and then when the crowd pushed so hard I couldn't breath - but I thought "I've suffered through Trivium - there's no way I'm giving up now" . And yeah, the bruise on your hip sounds like mine . It's 5cm by 5cm and a lovely shade of red and purple and the bruises I got up at the gold coast on my arms are now darker. Ahh! But it was so more than worth it! I didn't even notice getting those bruises I was too busy enjoying the music and the performance. Wow those guys rocked!

You missed Muse? I was in the mosh - right up close and it was so rough and fun! My legs are all sore from jumping so much . I was right next to one of those circle pits (you know when the crowd in the middle of a mosh makes a circle and all these guys thrash about in it? But I loved it despite the crush and the heat and the big guys bashing into me . Personally, The Vines were my fave act of the night - nothing was gonna top them yesterday, but Muse were a close second . They were better than at the Gold Coast as well . You need to catch them next time!
The Presets would have been great though!

And yeah, Ryan did say Adam was his friend and brother. I couldn't imagine losing someone like that, it's just so sad . But yeah, the guys paid him an awesome tribute, if Adam could have seen it he would have been so touched - what a show.

Awww, that's so sad! Poor Ryan, I feel so sorry for him. I read this before I went to school and I couldn't get it out of my head. I tried to imagine how it must've like for him. I guess it must be terrible if you lose someone that's so close to you.


I've said this a lot lately, but it must be said as many times as possible. I absolutely love Craig's hair. It's so ... silky and light and washed and stuff. And I love Hamish's faces in the pics.

I thought the vines were fucking awesome at the sydney bdo. I only managed to see about half an hour of the set because id been watching mcr and then left early to see the end of eskimo joe. These are the only good pics that i managed to get:

Because id paid $124 for a ticket and i wanted to see as many bands as i could. Plus if i didnt leave early i wouldnt have been up the front for the killers.

I don't think they will, they've been playing the same setlist at every BDO so far and 1969 hasn't been in it.


Uh huh, I totally agree. Eskimo Joe put me to sleep . I stayed till the end of The Vines and still got a decent spot inside the 'D' for The Killers. Oh well. You missed out Jemima .
