Agreed, I did not want to mess with the city pics either - you know I would only like to be at the park or beach...
But that day we had to travel thru the tunnel to Portsmouth for Father's Day with family and the shots reflect the harbor. Ship building and the navy yard have spoiled the river. It is too filled with oil and chemicals to swim there.
It is posted that the fish and crabs are not safe to eat.
The neighborhood shot I took a few weeks back during a community yardsale. I got out of the car and felt like I was in that movie faceoff - The part where the guy comes home - but can't find his house - because he is Castor Troy really - But he says it is because they all look alike. This neighborhood was so surreal. Like it was the movie and these were all actors. Sort of like the movie where they filmed the guys whole life and he didn't know everyone else was acting... sorry I can't think of the name.

But I'm sorry, I have to disappoint you... fishing isn't allowed in that creek. 
And haha, glad to know I wasn't alone in not wanting to post photos of buildings. I looove that neighbourhood shot! It's so... quaint!
It's funny you should talk about movies, because it really reminds me of the movies too, and it's probably quite naive of me, but it's how I picture all American neighbourhoods. And I love how all the houses are two storeys tall.
