I had a dream the other night that my country got nuked. Seriously, scary as hell. I was looking over the horizon, and the sun got bigger, and bigger and brighter, but it wasn't the sun, it was a mushroom cloud, and i could see the outside of it coming closer and closer to me. When it hit me, i woke up.

I am seriously afraid my country is going to be overtaken and i am going to die. Which is weird, because im athiest, therefore, i believe we are just biological creatures, and when we die, we cease to exist.

I guess when i die it's really going to be the end of the world(in a sense). The end of the world as i know it, but not everyone else's end.

I had a similar dream a few years ago and I'm still alive

thats a different way of looking at it, (in a very true way). do yo uhave alot of things on your mind right now? stress? anexitey?
Thomhatesmusic
I normally only dream of wars. I never really thought about what it meant really. Maybe I should.

Seriously what does it mean that I'm in world war too and only saved because an old British soldier falls in love with me and takes me to England?
beatcomber_22
i had the most insane war dream once. i was on a field trip, and planes kept crashing into the ground and exploding in the sky and crashing into buildings..9/11-esque. and then this voice came from the sky, something about the air being poison. so i coincidentally had a paper bag in my hand and starting breathing out of that, and everyone started dropping dead and i woke up.

oh yea, sorry about your dream joe. it sounds really scary. my dreams aren't that scary, more weird and i kinda know in the back of my mind that it's just a dream

I was reading a good deal about dreams a lot last year. After I had a dream about totally slaughtering my best friend i wanted to find out what it meant. unsure.gif

I read that sometimes your dreams mean the opposite. So lets say you have a dream where your having sex with the person you hate the most... well that doesn’t necessarily mean you secretly love them, it could mean you really hate them.

I have also had dreams of wars and such; I read that those sorts of dreams could mean you are having inner battles and conflicts with yourself. So maybe you should try to sort out your thoughts and figure out the problem

you can never be to sure though, the human mind is a crazy/confusing place. wacko.gif

Supposedly, we only know 8% about the human body. Including the brain. It really is the most confusing piece of us, and it would really seem that when our thoughts originate from that part of the body we should have a basic understanding... OK ^^^ my theory on your dream is that you need to stop watching the news, or just stop thinking all together. Confusion, stress, and whatever else comes from your brain is all normal, and merges in dreams! No biggie, just a big blob of jelly making things out of nothing. I'm no expert, but hey, it's only my theory.
IsLuke?
good theory

i'm pretty sure if you 'stop thinking all together' ...bad things will happen

i know a few things about dreams and i can tell u that ur dream is all positive wink.gif

as u said it, it will be the end of the world... But dont forget the main subject of all ur dreams, the central thing, is YOU, so here it means theres a Big change in ur life, u are living an important turning point in ur life... Take that as a positive dream, i swear wink.gif

Last summer i had the worse dream of my life: i dreamt my dad was dead and i just couldnt help but cry and when i woke up, i had been cryin in my sleep for real... But i just took it as a positive thing, and indeed my relationship with my dad was then turning better smile.gif

I haven't had any turning points in my life. I joined a band, and i don't like it a lot. My favorite person to talk to on AIM never gets on, and i have no motivation to go to school. I just want to drop out, and lay in bed all day. Just write weird fucking music, and sleep.

I read it as you feel like you can't get peace of mind until you change some annoying aspect in your life or personality. And you're depressed because people are trying to pressure you into accepting responsibilities that you don't want. Sometimes death or destruction in dreams represent changes but usually when it something as destructive as that its more wanting a change to get out of responsibilities or a bad situation.

I had a dream where my brother was Chucky from the movie Child's Play.

I've had these reocurring dreams for the last few months where I am surrounded with people and I can't seem to keep my balance. Sort of like a person who's had to much to drink and can't stand, let alone walk without staggering and falling. Though I'm never drinking. It's always the same thing but just different situations and different people.

I was thinking maybe it's something to do with having no control or stability in my life. A metaphor for my not being able to control my balance but I really don't have a clue.

Dreams are just your sub-conscience replaying all the information you retained very recently either in the day or a few days previously. You probably watched some fucked up war film or something like that and you brain just replayed it in your dreams.
