Maybe it's just your internet provider, I was having that a lot before I changed it; internet traffic gets jammed, too, y'know. I haven't had any trouble accessing the forum so I don't think it's the forum's server's fault or we'd all have the same problem.
Try coming to the forum at a different time, if that's possible. Usually it's the worst during work hours when all the office employees go to porn sites instead of doing their jobs.

Yeah those sound like browser/connection problems...

The forum does have alot of schtuff in it so some connections and browsers can get bitchy with it.

What's up with the forum these days? Is it just my crappy computer or was the forum really down the whole day today and yesterday?
And even when it's up, it's taking forever to load and I can't have more than three or four tabs opened at the same time or it just wouldn't load.

Same here. But I thought it was just me 'cause I've had some problems with my computer lately.
And sometimes if I go to another tab and then come back here and reload the page I get a "can't find page" thing and it often stops to work completely after that.

Seems fine now, let's just hope it doesn't continue. :/

5 days ago it took me 1 hr to get on this forum im so pissed off about that ! And yes it was this forum i could go on line every where else but No not hear!!

Yeah, the server the forum is hosted on is apparently shite, and it's not the first time something like that has happened. There used to be days and even weeks that the forum was either acting like a horse ready to be sedated or a horse that has already been sedated.
I think we'll have to get ourselves a new forum anyway because this one's still property of EMI, even though The Vines are no longer under EMI/Capitol label.

yea the forum blacked out while i was on too and i think it kept me logged on the whole day

So, my recent tech problem is that my best friend Quick Edit hasn't been working. I keep getting this: "IPB WARNING [2] xmlout::require_once(/home/thevines/public_html/ips_kernel/class_ajax.php) [function.xmlout-require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory (Line: 101 of /sources/action_public/xmlout.php)" whenever I try to get it to work. I'm pretty sure it's not just my computer since I restarted it a couple of times and tested it on different browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome). Full Edit works fine, but Quick Edit is so much faster and prettier and handier.

Also, some days ago I wasn't able to get the forum to open. It took forever to load as I clicked on the forum and then it just said that the "page couldn't load". This also happened when I was online. It slowed down as I was to go back to the board index for example, but then the "page couldn't load" thing came back.

This probably just happened to me and it's fine now.

No, the loading error happens a lot to me, Emile. It's so annoying!
