I don't know if this is a good idea or not but occationally I have TV shows I would like to discuss but I don't think they deserve a whole topic. Well I supose it is more that I think the shows deserve a topic just I don't what to start one and I don't know if anyone else will discuss them. So this is simple if you want to talk about a differnt show just start talking about it.

I want to start by talking about a show called "The Mighty Boosh", it is one of my absolute faverite comedy shows ever (along with monty python, Black Books, the chaser and the IT Crowd). There are two series and i think they are working on a third one. The first series of the show is set in a Zoo, and all this strange stuff happens. I think that if that zoo was real it would have been closed down by now. I supose it is gone by the second series.

Only the first series has come to australia so i have to rely on youtube.

Killaroo

mutants

Bollo

Arctic

I absolutly love Vinces fashion sense, in fact it is somwhat like some of the things I wear. I sure hope we get the next series here. There are more episods on youtube if you like it. If you don't like the boosh talk about another show, dosn't bother me.

P.S. as there are a lot of different shows out there and we are bound not to have heard of some of them please when possible post links to the shows then other people can actually know what you are talking about.

x2 he's supposedly going a solo stand up routine in early December in London, I'll go.

I set up a facebook group on them ha...haven't gotten any members don't think. I only recently got into the Boosh and I fucking love it.

Also I'm watching way too much Arrested Development, I'm also through the third series (went through all of them the past 2 weeks)...for like the third or fourth time. (I'm homesick *le sigh*)

good.

It should be hung really. hanged isnt abiding the english rules.

Yay! United lead chelski by 3 points and they have to play without John Terry for two matches!
Fantastic biggrin.gif
ED aka the best everrr
what happened to Terry? sorry I was sleeping after an instore...looong day.

I got my fill of british tv tonight...saw a football hooligan movie (not the match, not green street hooligans...the other one beginning with 'the football') and I can't stand it when they don't learn their lesson about violence...particularly being a wimp and nonviolent I felt a bit too uncomfortable.

FFS, In primary school we learned that prisoners were hanged by the neck until dead, and not hung by the neck until dead. Paintings, coats, and Christmas stockings are "hung", not people. They are "hanged". When hang means, as it generally does, "to suspend," then hung is the correct past-tense and past participial form of the verb: "Yesterday, I hung a picture on the wall"; "I have hung many pictures on many walls." When hang means "to put to death by hanging," however, hanged is the correct past-tense and past participial form: "We hanged the horse-thieving varmint yesterday"; "We've hanged nigh unto forty horse thieves this year." Given that hanging has become a fairly infrequent means to a fairly infrequent end, you might think that this is an unimportant distinction. But, because of a colloquial use of hung that we blush bright yellowish green to mention here, you can end up embarrassing yourself if you use hung as an adjective to describe a male historical figure executed by hanging. History records that John Billington was hanged at Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1630; whether Mr. Billington was hung, history does not record.

Very attractive, but another one of those people who age gracefully, i mean he is like 33 or somthing but they make out like he is 20 years younger than julian (who is in his 30s also).

I'm glad you know what you mean, Lauren. It's ashame that you can never elucidate any of your points to anyone else, though.

First of all, ashame/a shame, either is acceptable.

And, I wouldn't feel the need to "bring you down" if I could understand you. Your sheer stupidity is the only thing that's bringing you down, tbh.
Laurenilla
how is stupidity? i could explain myself better if i spoke to people personally but sadly this is an online forum, therefore i have to try and explain myself as well as i possibly can, without using too many smilies as i know that annoys you. why not, instead of having to expect people to use extremely long fancy words, take in whatever's there and stop whinging.

FFS. i may have mis-typed. im am very sorry, but i have more important things to concentrate on than trying to type EVERY little sentence perfectly.

No shit, Noel is 33, Julian is 38 I think, but i know what you mean Noel really looks early 20s. It is really quite odd.

I have this friend called Vince at school i was talking to my mum about the boosh and
she said "i bet Vinnie thinks there is a character named after him"
i said "nah Vince in the boosh has much better hair"
Then mum said "DOSE NOT"
I told my friend.....he seemed so thrilled that anyone (even my mum) thought his hair's better than Vince from the boosh....then i reminded him that in the boosh everyone thinks Vince is a girl. laugh.gif
