I'd like to know what people think is the saddest movie.
For me, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest or United States of Leland would definitley have to be up there...

Oh, Edward Scissor Hands made me cry very hard. It was really sad. It still has left an impression of sadness in my... heart.
Nah, heart sounds too cheesy. In my memory.

Very sad film. And it is good though.

I think one of the first films that almost made me cry was "Cast Away" with Tom Hanks.
It was when the main character found out that his wife got married again. A sad sad scene.

I Am Sam made me cry,Dandelion was very sad,it made me cry a little;and A.I Artificial Inteligence was very sad too

I don't know about the sadest movie ever, but 'City of angels' always makes me cry, or mabey 'house of flying daggers' cause the girl takes her own life atempting to take anothers life, but she dosn't succed anyway.

And it was really sad when the boy in Dead Poet's Society shot himself. He was my favorite character, too.

^ She's 16. Her birthday is about 5 days after mine. And there was an article in the paper a week or two about her being pregnant, too.
Whale Rider didn't seem that sad . . . It was nice that they started to get along in the end, though.
Mr. Holland's Opus isn't really that sad but it's touching at the end. Some of my friends cried from it.

I'd like to mention Mystic River.
It is not necessarily so sad that you wanna cry but the story is tragic as hell.

I've seen Behind the Sun yesterday and it was very sad... At the end of the film I looked like if half of my family was murdered...

But i really recommend the film, it was brilliant...

Crash is one of those films that leaves you with a feeling of "wow". Sort of sad but makes you think at the same time.

I didn't know the existence of 'the notebook' and the 'march of the penguins', they seem fine movies, the last movie I saw was.. I don't remember
