Wonky? even if they dont support muse will they do some more shows of their own? cos the forum rocked my socks so good to have them back, oh and i sent that letter!

at the moment, this tour stuff is still up in the air. unfortunately, it's looking like the pairing with muse in the UK may not happen.
even if you're not in the UK and this wouldn't affect you, say a little prayer that it works out because it would mean so much to craig, obvs, watching a band he loves play every night, but more importantly, it would be such excellent exposure for the band. a wider audience needs to realize that the vines are back and better than they ever were.haha, no, I'm quite glad there is no footage of that. I hate self exposure!
Because Vogues are so thin, its hard to look normal smoking them, and because I knew people around me wanted it, I had to be quick. I was so happy though... the night before, when he gave it to the girl at the end of the stage, I remember thinking "god i wish that were me!" and lo and behold... the next night it was. 
That week was the best week of my life, for many reasons... and that is at the top of the list.
Stories like that make me wanna smoke.

oh that would be brilliant. I got my Muse tickets the other week! I was thinking that it could happen. I think I'd be more excited to see the Vines!

well, they'll be playing BDO with muse - the killers are also 'rumoured' to be on the bill.
muse are doing some of their own side shows in oz, but the vines haven't been asked/agreed to open those shows. but if they don't get the UK gig with them, maybe it'll happen in oz.

Are you guys going to be going to BDO?
I wish I could go to BDO but for one thing i'll be in france at the time and for 2 my parents won't let me go cause people have died in there mosh pits before and i'm pritty short.
There was only one girl who died, and the safety regulations they bought in as a result of her death mean it's pretty unlikely to happen again. When you're in the mosh at BDO it's not much of a crush at all - the Vines concerts I just went to were more crushed than any BDO I've ever been to. They limit the number of people allowed into the mosh area - it's all fenced off and security guards regulate the number of people in and out. So yeah, it's all very safe now.
It sucks that you won't be able to go to the BDO wednesday - but if the guys are still planning on doing some October shows in Australia (they were saying they would probably do some in late October earlier this month) you might be able to see them then hopefully!

I'm going to the Big Day Out for Tool and Muse (and the basically confirmed Killers and My Chemical Romance), The Vines included with all of those bands would be amazing!
It sucks that I've got my exams late October.

Was the big day out line up annoced, i thought it was today, if it hasn't been it is some time this week.
Any more news on the possible US tour in november/december ??

I hope they tell us way in advance so that I can make sure I have enough money and so that I can cancel any and all prior obligations to go to any gigs near me.
Life as I know it is going to halt for Vines concerts.

a mate of mine's uncle or something like that said they have had a tip-off that the vines are playing the birmingham NEC early next year and he can get me tickets.

Nope, I'm pretty sure the guys aren't gonna do Homebake this year, I think they're gonna be in the USA in December - well that's what they were saying last month.

It would be awesome if the Vines headlined the Side Stage- its so much better than the main stage- better crowd and better atmosphere, its much easier to get to the front and you dont get crushed!

I havn't heard anything much said about more touring in Australia, apart from the fact it is happening, can you tell me more, or is that all we know?
they were hoping to do some more oz dates around the end of this month but...so far nothing.
