Hey, I used watercolor for a bowl of eggs. A good practice of working around the white and discovering the soft color tones reflected.

Working on the largest paintings that I've ever done so far. This is just the under-drawing.

OK Kitty - first you might get in trouble, I know it's art, but maybe a blur? I had to blush even though I'm older.

Had to give you a story...
In high school I visited Moore College of Art, to show my portfolio. Take some classes. Applied and was admitted for the fall. Down-payment paid.

Anyways, I walked into one class, only to have this naked guy posing. Wow, I felt uncomfortable!
To my relief, the class was ending. But next, a young girl was up to pose. Life drawing? Could we do it with some clothes? I said nothing. I found a seat after she laid down.

Behind her, at the right angle... I took my charcoal bravely... Started with form, focused on her braided hair, and quickly finished this class. So, I didn't draw anything personal but her backside. A quick line was all I needed. HA HA

Well, the funny part... I won a state award for this! I was barely 17 and decided this is not for me! I had to go to the state capital museums to collect this award with my mother in tow? She loved it when my watercolor (some eggs in a bowl) won - but how do I explain the backside of a naked girl?

I gave this delicate charcoal on newsprint to my older brother - never to draw seriously again.
Never returned to art school.

Don't worry Suz, it's for an upcoming open show exploring classification of art. It's about censorship and how the nude figure is a symbol of purity and a guide of understanding the human form while if it is involved in an erotic situation (eg pornography), it would be considered a lower form of art/culture. After I paint it, I'm going to put duct tape over the genital areas as if they are censor bars.
