haha, I was watching them walk down the street after the gig screaming "oh my god! we touched him!" it was pretty funny. Craig didnt seem to worried. Although I thought things were gonna get a little out of hand. there was people coming from everywhere.

I was against the barracade thing. It hurt too.

those girls were my friends younger sister and her friends. they are 15 and have been obsessed with the vines for many years. i got one of craigs and ryans guitar picks too.

i thought it was great (although i was somewhat drunk) and i was sooooooooo happy that they played autumn shade II as they hadnt played it at splendour and the secret show. i didnt look at the sydney setlist either so it was a huge awesome surprise.

my friends have a lot of photos and videos too that i will share once i get a copy of them on cd or something.

There were more idiots at this show than the second night. I was so pissed off at those girls who jumped on stage and heckled Craig.

I've got about 5 really short videos, including Winning Days and 1969. The qualitys not great though, but you can get a pretty good idea of what it was like. I can't beleive they played Autumn Shade II, I never thought it was a song they'd play live.

I just want to see them again and again and again.

It was rough, hey?

I was in the front row and I always was at all the shows and always tended to stand right in front of or slightly to the right of Craig. But this time I was in between him and Ryan. I didn't get kicked by a crowdsurfer this time, it's a miracle! But yeah, it was rough this night. Very weird how the crowdsurfers only seemed to come up on the middle to right side and hardly ever the left!

But it was a great show, so much energy. You can tell just how into it Craig is!

^ I was thinking about why crowd surfers tend to only be on the right side - and I've come up with a theory. The bar was on the right side at both the Corner and the Annandale, so there were more drunk people on the right... either that or there are a lot of guys with the hots for Brad (and who could blame them right? ). I got a few million pics and some videos that I'll post later, great shows - although I think their Friday Annandale was the best of the lot . Just incredible.

I agree with the theory! I learned my lesson at the annandale and at this first corner hotel show. Do not stand right in front of craig in the front row. You'll get kicked by crowd surfers . And they were big guys too, like over 6 foot trying to crowd surf, it was so obnoxious. But it was worth it

And another thing. I swear, the front row is always mostly girls and directly behind is always this huge mob of guys pushing and crowd surfing and trying to get in the front row. What's the deal wiht that

Thats so true about the guys in the second row. I have a big purple bruise on my arm where this blond guy inbetween me and Joey had his arm stretched out trying to get into the front row, and it was pushing into me the whole night. And what was with all those crowd surfers? I don't get it. After you get to the front you just have to go to the back anyway.

You were really smart to stand where you did! I've learnt my lesson now, I think I was in the worst possible spot. I think theres only one band in the world I'd be willing to get squished and bruised and kicked in the head for.

Haha, me too - I'd stand in the front row for The Vines even if crowd surfers took to carrying sledge hammers with them .

Yep, that's a pretty accurate transcript. From memory, I think he said "I'm not gonna play until someone turns the lights on." I love that look on Hamish's face.

i was one of those 'heckling' girls and i just wanted to say, get over it, ur probably just jealous. i didn't like smother him or anything, there was one girl who was a little insanely violent, but me and two of my friends just kinda jived with him if u will, i was first on with a white top and black and white other stuff and prety much put my arm round his shoulder and he did the same back. others said craig looked like he quite enjoyed the girls... haha we even have videos of him like waving and looking at us inbetween songs. AND i got his coke and picks. not a bad effort, but we didn't friggin heckle/harrass him, so just stay quiet.

Well, the girls are seasoned Craig arse Vines photographers... A lot of mine turned out blurry because I didn't use flash so I could keep some of the cool lighting. Pros and cons... But we ended up with a multitude of awesome photos between us anyway.

Yeah, Theres such an awesome collection of photos here that it doesn't really matter mine didn't turn out so well. I'm still amazed at the amount of great shots came out of these shows!

The most important thing is that my photo with Craig turned out ok.

awww thanks. I already knew he was a nice guy but he really overwhelmed me. I'm more infatuated with him than ever before. He was just so humble and appreciative of all those who love his music. Its so rare to find someone like that in the music industry.

Yeah I have a set list from the first Annandale show - all the shows had the same set list except Sunday (Take me Back was the first song in the encore that night).
