), this one was even more high energy and off the charts (erm, the predominantly testosterone-charged male crowd may have had a little something to do with that! brutal, i tell ya!!). the crowd didn't even chill out during the slow songs, but then i think it's just people are so happy to have them back up on stage they can't contain themselves!!and craig is a different person on stage these days. he looks so happy to be up there, smiling and chatting with the crowd between songs, demanding we 'tear off the fucking roof for '1969', and is like a whirling dervish jumping around and swinging his guitar and thrashing about as he plays. its the same energy from early HE and WD-era shows you've seen but not forced or coming from a place of anger - you can tell he's lost in the music and loving it!
allie had video duties last night, and besides killer versions of 'spaceship' and '1969', she also got craig busting his moves AGAIN during 'ms. jackson' - including some robot action at the end!
they played the same setlist as tuesday's show. we'd asked craig the day before if he takes requests, and he was cute and said it depended because they'd basically rehearsed the set they're playing to be THE ONE. he made a face like i'd puked on his shoes when we asked about 'amnesia' - apparently, that's not an easy one.
i asked for 'don't go' and told him how many fans liked that song, and craig said he would see. well, guess what song we heard them soundchecking at last night's show, kiddos? yup, 'don't go'!! 
oh. my. god. it sounded sooooooooooo good. they didn't play it last night, but craig and hamish confirmed they're trying to work up some of those songs - hamish even said there were a few other fan requests they might try. how awesome is that i ask you? want pics? you're in luck! allie is about to post some for you.
