theres this one member who everytime i pass by his/her posts my computer cmpletely slows down because of their animated "signature" and "avatar" thing, then my IE freezes up and i have to restart.

not everyone has super fast connections, is there a way i can just block out that persons posts? or any other solutions...?
is she weird
Which member??

Oh wait I think there is a way to set it not to see peoples avatars and things so you should just pm one of the mods.

you have two options....

1. go to 'my controls', look down the left-hand side, and choose 'ignore users.' it allows you to type in a username and it will block their posts so you don't see them.

or...

2. go to 'my controls,' look in that same section, choose 'board settings,' and choose to not show any signatures (you'll see a menu where you can remove the check mark by that option).

also, please pm me the name of that user so i check and be sure they're in compliance with sig rules - that may be the problem.

hope this helps and good luck! smile.gif
