if it's a good enough set to bring lauren's mum to tears, it must be great.

and, lauren, even if you don't remember the exact setlist, do you remember roundabouts what songs they played?

I like new Craig abit more. The one that practices alot. So he can just destroy the show. I hope there back because im sure this will show to people there not dead. Because it sounds like there first show was really good. Are they playing 2 sets or have they already done them?

yeah their becoming a real solid band. not saying that they wern't before.
but to quote hamish
"before it was like they were allergic to rehersing" (proboly not exacit, but close enough)
now that theyve been practing alot more, and craigs health is getting better. they can now totally show the world that the vines kick ass !!

Yeah after people see good reviews they should think that too. But they also bring people out with the thought that it could be a huge Craig stage trash blow up. Which is a cool thing too see. But I see them moving into a more musical side or proforming. I also think before Craig took advantage of what he was givin with the tour and fame. This is probly the reason for the many thank your during there shows.
P.S: this is the smartest thing ive ever said. A pat on the back would be great.

I think my mom would literally pass out if she was at a concert. Getting her to even go to a movie is a big deal, I swear to god. And everything that is audiable is too loud for her

. But maybe she has a point cause for this experimental participation I did they had to test my hearing. Ever so slightly below par

Hey some of us oldies know how to rock.....It was just to Motorhead, Van Halen, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue when I was your age!!!

I remember when my brother and I went to a Sonic Youth concert with our mom (because he was only 15 and I was 12) after the concert she couldn't stop borrowing our Sonic Youth cds

and she asked me if it was because of Kim Gordon that I've learned to play guitars (when I was a teenager Kim Gordon was my "model"

);
But for my mom rock'n'roll is the Rolling Stones

I was in the third row, it was probably the best performance I've seen ever. They played quite a few more songs than what was listed. Here's what I remember:
Dope Train
Outtathaway
Highly Evolved
Get Free
1969
Don't Listen to the Radio
Gross Out
Vision Valley
Ride
Ms Jackson
Fuk Yeh
Anysound
Animal Machine
Fuck the World

Hey people, just got back from london where I saw The Vines last night at The Forum and yer, I saw them at Reading too and Oh my God, they have to be the best band i saw all weekend, they should really have headlined the NME/Radio 1 tent.
The setlists were pretty similar for both gigs, tho there were more acoustics in the London gig and it was a bit longer.
I recorded the BBC coverage but its only one song Outtathaway from Reading I think. Someone must have recorded the Red Button stuff.
Anyway, it was absolutely amazing, better than I expected, oh and there were video cameras at The Forum gig, does that mean there will be a kind of official video?

they've been recording all their shows - peeps were spotted with cameras at the annandale/joe dirt, splendour, and nottingham gigs too. maybe they're gathering material for a DVD or add-on to the next album?

so glad you had a great time at both shows, and if you can rip that outtathaway clip that would be stellar!
