hey i booked my tickets for the london forum show as soon as they were available from nme.com i havent received them yet. So i phoned them before asking why they have'nt come and they said because they havent received them yet so i was just wondering if anyone who has baught tickets from here have received them yet or having the same problem as me

did you order with a credit card ? maybe the transaction didn't go through yet.

yeah i did it cleared a week ago the only assurance they gave me was that if my ticket does'nt arrive in 5 days before the gig i have to phone them again.(but the excuse they gave me was that the havent got any tickets off the supplier at all)

my tickets to see maximo park took nearly a month to come so i shouldnt worry too much

Cécile and me have ordered them to by NME.com, we haven't receive nothing yet, i'll worry in 2 weeks ...

I wouldn't be too concerned, if nothing else you can always pick them up at will-call (NME or whoever just leaves the ticket with the venue box office for and you pick them up the day of the gig). As long as you have your proof that the tickets are payed for (and you may need the credit card you payed with) you shouldn't have a problem.

loloh man I hate will call, wheere you have to go up to the desk and all that in the middle of all those big crowds but yeah no worries, im sure it will all turn out lovely

Oh My God !! i had a heart attack when i saw the title of the page ! I'm kinda anxious about the tickets, i haven't received them yet and i booked them 2weeks ago i'm so tressed !!!!

Well I don't mean to stress anyone but I only booked my ticket on Sunday and it came today. (I finally decided I wasn't taking the risk of being on the guest list so got one anyway!)

BUT let me explain, I didn't get my ticket from NME I got it from The Forum website which uses Wayahead as their box office and they are in my home town of Nottingham. The tickets for Wayahead as one of the largest agencies in the UK are printed direct by Wayahead with just the "Mean Fiddler" (who run the Forum)logo, they keep blanks.

NME on the other hand will be waiting for their tickets to be sent by either the Forum or Wayahead themselves. This doesn't mean that your tickets haven't been allocated they just haven't been printed yet. They will wait until there is only "one" posting of tickets to NME for them to send on. Probably 10 days or so before the gig.

Hopefully this means that the tickets will be with you all in time. If not call the number for the NME helpline and they can arrange for collection at the venue on the day.

By the way my ticket number wasn't even 500 so there's a good chance this gig isn't going to sell out. The UK music industry is so fickle it will take a couple of great, even though they're not sell out, shows for NME to start raving about the Vines again. And that probably means Reading and Leeds as this will get people back on side who just pop along out of curiosity!

yeha but you are living in uk and Cécile and an I in france, so it takes much time for the tickets to come

The ten days bit is just a guess....but what I'd do is call the help line one week before you leave and if they still haven't got them get them to put them on the door for you.

ok i'll call them to see where are they with those tickets ...
btw when you receive your ticket, the post man came, you had to sign something or it was just on your mail box?

You are so lucky ! i'm more than stressed right now, i can't stop thinking about it ! Anyway if i don't get them i (fortunatly ) printed the page when you finished to book your tickets and that's written on i booked my tickets maybe it'll work if i don't receive them !

But i thought i should call them but i dunno if it's expensive, does someone know ?

cecile, why don't you give them until monday. if you still haven't gotten your tix by then, call the venue and tell them and ask if bringing your purchase confirmation number and ID will be enough.

that confirmation page you printed should do the trick, but it's worth the long distance expense to call and be sure.

It's all right now, i just received a call from Nadia and she told me that she called NME.com or something like that and huuum in fact i and all the french people won't receive the tickets ! I just needed to have that page i printed and then you'll show it at the venue so i'm really really feeling okay now, i was so stressed

^aw... my poor cécile u didnt need to stress over that... as long as u paid, and can prove u did, they have to give ur ticket
