Jul 27 2006, 08:01 AM
Possibly..I normally would but it depends what's happening on the day and how the first gig goes at Nottingham..let you know nearer the time. But I'll definately be around before the Nottingham gig if anyone is coming up for that. I'll be easy to spot...I'll be the oldest person there!

Ryan's Snakebites
Jul 27 2006, 08:06 AM
I'll be at as many as the boys can get me into...but definately Nottingham as I have taken the precaution of getting tickets for that one being first show and all.

Don't know where in France you are but try BMI baby they fly from Paris to Nottingham East Midlands Airport, then there is a bus service from theairport to Nottingham City Centre. For accomodation try the Travelodge on Maid Marion Way about a five minute walk from the Rescue Rooms. Hope that helps.

i'm not going to the london show, but i did want to post here and say we plan to have 'roll-call' threads like this one for each show, so peeps going can post saying as much and y'all can plan to have a .com meet up. stalk the band maybe.
so far, it looks like we've got five for the forum?

Good idea..it'll save trawling through lots of threads if we keep it this way...maybe we should all wear name badges!!
BTW..just to warn you London has sometimes been a pain for meeting them..late arrivals, roadie soundchecks, Harry (sorry to swear) and very late aftershow have all made it more difficult. Although out of four London shows there was only one where I didn't manage it, that was the Electric Ballroom! You just need a lot more patience than the provincial shows where they are usually captive on a tour bus.

so far a list of five message board members is pretty poor.
ok a lot of people are unable to attend due to geographical reasons but come on english vines fans!
lets at least make this london show go off without a problem, after all we don't want it cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
my pair of tickets are number 17 and 18.....says it all really

That would be awful I 'd definately feel bad for all UK fans. If the show goes of I suggest trying to get pictures with the band. Even though I doubt they would let fans get near Craig.

I don't know whether all you guys realise this but the Rescue Rooms only holds 480 anyway and that's with the balcony open..should be a hot sweaty night! And the dressing room is really small about 10 foot by 4 foot and its visable from the front of the stage! There's no toilet in it and and no back entrance to it (only one door).

How is it to get a fake ID in England and Australia? In NY it's almost impossible. Ours are coded with a hologram.
Ryan's Snakebites
Jul 28 2006, 02:21 PM
The Forum tickets are available on
www.meanfiddler.com
it mentions age restrictions apply so I'd presume that mean 18.
ID over here usually means a driving licence nowadays gone are the old days of forged student cards etc, but saying that as long as you look old enough on the door and don't try to buy alcohol you'll usually get in.
Sorry I never gave this a thought, if I got asked for proof of age it'd be to get O.A.P. prices!

For the forum london, in NME they said, it's for the 14+. When i saw that i had a heart attack, i was like 'oh my god i'm sure they won't accept me

' but in fact if you're 14 you have to be accompagnied by an adult

so Fee you'll can enter

If they've let you book tickets thay should tell you the age policy.
When I get tickets for the Rescue Rooms/Rock City they always say no refunds unless the gig is cancelled and its an 18+ show (or whatever the age limit is that night).
I'd ring the venue direct myself if I were you guy and get the correct story.
Anyway like I said you can usually blag it unless you are real young looking and silly with it!
